“A beautiful must stay in the area”

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The surroundings were stunning, food was delicious and pool area was beautiful. Staff were so kind and attentive.

“Beuutiful scenery ideal for wildlife lovers”

Such an exemplary hotel, from the main road if you blinked you'd miss it. The gardens surrounding the hotel are beautifully curated and absolutely full of wildlife, within minutes of checking in we saw all manner of tropical birds, frogs, squirrels lizards and even some small snakes in the ponds lining the central garden path. As a wild life lover this was particularly exciting. The swimming pool was great and had nice views of the jungle in the distance, the room was spacious, comfortable and well lit. Staff were so friendly too, wished I could have stayed longer.

Thoughtfully designed hotel with lots of trees and paddy fields. We had a relaxing stay and the pool was large and clean. Bar staff were excellent . We will highly recommend this hotel for the location. Only disappointment was the food at the restaurant. Not much choice for Sri Lankans/ Asians. Visiting after 2 years we were looking for some local tasty food and disappointing to note that even basic Sri Lankan food was not displayed.

From the welcoming up to the checkout everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful We got connected room for the kids and ourselves even if we didn't ask for. The rooms were very comfortable and had all amenities. This must have been the first hotel where the pictures of the swimming pool did reflect the real beauty and size. 😉

The location of the hotel was very beautiful. It's located in a big mango garden with lots of mango trees. It gave the feeling of being in a forest which was very calming. The staff was very helpful and polite. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was terrific. The calmness in the surroundings was beyond compare. It was very relaxing.

We were informed by the staff that we got “upgraded” and eventually i found out the room they gave us was what we actually booked through booking.com in the first place. Then the room keys did not work, then the AC was spoilt. In that moment, As the Resorts GM could not solve matters, i called the owner of the resort one Mr Thisa, who was seriously rude on the phone. i gave up! Thank God it was just one night of a nightmare!

Overall everything was as expected. Great welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast and Dinner options were good and delicious. Especially local foods provided were very tasty.

“Unique boutique resort that needs maintenance.”

This is a very unique resort, full of mango trees, cashew trees and paddy fields. You don't see so much open space around these days. The hotel has a 50m pool overlooking the rice fields. The rooms are huge and the balcony is beautiful. We got room 114 which was away from the noise of the Christmas crowd. Food was very tasty and the quantity is massive. We really liked our stay here for the money we paid.

“This is a hotel close to nature”

The hotel is located in a beautiful private park. I was greeted by an attentive staff. We took the rooms quickly. There was even time for a swim before dinner. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and cozy. The bathroom is large. The bed is comfortable. The dinner consisted of very delicious, mainly local dishes. The breakfast consisted of a good selection of fresh and high quality food. I can only recommend. I will choose this hotel again next time.
