The owner was making innapropriate comments. Would not recommend as a female traveller. He told me he had a wife and children but I think he lied. He sits all the time scrolling with high volume so there's no peace to get though the place is beautiful. Then every night he gets drunk on the property with his friends or alone. Also I payed him via bank, but since the money wouldn't arrive before a few days and he had to pay for some safari, he forced me to take out money and promised to send it once he got it. It's been more than a month now and he keeps saying he will send it soon and ignoring me.

Super nice place lake view. The owner is super friendly. Good food. The room is big and with all the necessary. You need a motorcycle but I love this location.

“The most perfect place in Sri Lanka”

I loved the property, everything about it! The room was nice and spacious and clean, the shower was wonderful. I love the area that it’s quiet and not too far from anything but far enough that you get so much peace of mind. The room is in front of a pink lotus pond and also a beautiful lake. I stayed in Sri Lanka for 5 months and this place is the place that made me feel so peaceful and at home. The perfect place to be. I really can’t tell you enough how perfect it is if. There’s a tree house to chill in and a garden to chill or workout in. The family who run it are amazing and i miss this place every day! There’s a kitchen you can cook in also. It’s overall beautiful and fantastic. Thank you. Dilan is amazing and so helpful, nothing is too much. A really amazing experience.

Dilan is a very friendly host and was always open for a nice chat and taught me a board game! Food was good and always very nicely decorated. The bathroom could have been cleaner but overall I felt very comfortable here and enjoyed having a few quiet and relaxed days away from busy roads and noise. Thanks again!

Very comfortable and cozy cabin-room with a beautiful(!) lake view. The host is very friendly and makes you feel like home and very relaxed, he has great tips for the area. Quiet location in nature/village, swimming spot close-by.

Lovely room with outlook to a beautiful lake. Lots of birds and chipmunks. And there's a nice outdoor seating area. Host was amazing. Even went into town when we asked for something he didn't stock.

Beautifull part of nature, where you can absorb animals and flowers, from a comfortable spot, infront of a lake or from tree house. Calm, chill place.

Be aware that there is no Concrete road, poaaible to go by car but May be muddy and difficult when raining. Nice view at the pond and lake, isolated in nature.

Amazing location right in the wildlife, Dilan was a fantastic host really welcoming and caring showed me the local area and offered great activities. The elephant safari was exceptional. The food and meals given were fantastic really tasty didn’t go hungry ever. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Very kind poeple , Dylan and his father are really helpfull, massive breakfast, you can rent moto bike 500m from there, really quiet at night, can do cheap tour really cheap with boat , food , amazing experience

We had a very Nice time at Sigiri wild lake. The situation is just incredible : on front of a lake with à private garden. Dylan, the owner, is so kind and carefull and cook for us à fantastic meal. He organise for us à safari to see the wild éléphant. It was amaizing

This place is village type guest house and rooms are faced to a lakeside. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. We spend a night and it was awesome. Definitely worth it. 👌
