Beautiful location, and clean comfortabel room with hot water, felt very exclusive with only two chalets, private dining table by the lake and incredibly attentive staff who couldn’t have done more for us, even washed our tuk-tuk! Good food and free coffee! Fridge in the room to keep my beer cold! Excellent value for money, I would highly recommend.

Good staff and beautiful location

That was a great stay and experience we had there in Samabe Lake. First of all location is really really awesome, it was perfect for who is looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

“Fantastic stay ! Love it all”

This boutique guest house is fantastic, located in front of the Samabe lake. This is such a peaceful, relaxing and quiet environment. A real paradise for all nature lovers - located just a few minutes away from Dambulla center. For now, there are only 2 cottages in the property. So basically the stay is very private (no noise around). The cottage size is very good with a terrace from where you can enjoy the view of the lake. The personnel is very friendly - and insisted to invite me for a lovely boat tour on the lake for free. Surprisingly there was no mosquito in the cottage whereas we could think that there might be due to the proximity of the lake. The WiFi was working very fine. All was perfect. From this place, i did visit Dambulla (e.g Golden temple) and its surroundings- up to Habarana for a half a day safari (mainly elephants spotted) in the national park of Minneriya/Eco lodge. Spent 2 wonderful nights …and wish I would have more time to stay more !

I am a backpacker traveling with one backpack and often stop spontaneously in different places with my friends. I prefer to choose housing at an inexpensive price. In this case, the place exceeded all my expectations. comfortable houses next to the lake. Cool canoe boat for independent sailing. The room has everything you need for relaxation. There is hot water and there was even a TV.

This is a unique place. With a beautiful natural area. There is a lake on the territory. natural habitat of many birds. You can sail on the lake by boat or catamaran. in the middle of the lake there is a beautiful island where you can hold a romantic ceremony. We booked 2 houses. We were greeted and accommodated very well. The price also includes the opportunity to choose one of the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. We love Sri Lankan cuisine and always enjoy trying it in different places. The hotel's location is close to main roads, which also allows you to travel into the city and explore local establishments. This place is truly worthwhile, it can calm the mind and give inner happiness.

The friendliest staff ever! Thanks a lot 😃 Absolute privacy, as there are only two chalets and no one around. Beautiful nature around, great view. The internet was great (20 Mb) as the staff provided me with a personal modem.

The place was very calm & quiet, just what I wanted with a really friendly & helpful staff. I stayed in a cottage facing a private small lake, where u can see clouds & rising sun mirroring at the morning! Excellent room service. Bonus point, the staff arranged a candle light dinner for me right next to the lake & I loved it!
