“Absolute fabulous stay”

We have never stayed in a homestay before, I guess we just didn’t think it was for us, how wrong were we. The whole experience has been absolutely amazing, great family, excellent food and a real laidback and comfortable experience from start to finish, they seriously could not be more accommodating. The location was excellent, room was very spacious, very comfortable beds, excellent aircon and good WiFi. Bathroom was spacious with bundles of hot water. You have the use of the kitchen for making tea coffee and anything else, they really make you feel like this is your home I hired a Tuk Tuk for the duration of my stay in Sri Lanka to get the full experience and that’s been absolutely amazing which brings me to the ample parking they have also on the grounds I wouldn’t hesitate to book restwell homestay again if I am in the area and would advise others, it’s great value for money and a wonderful experience.

The homestay was conveniently located in the city centre of Dambulla but not directly near the main street which made it more calm place. Room with AC was very good, everything went great with the owner who also made fantastic breakfasts. While the neighborhood is busy and might look scary at first in the evening, I strongly recommend this place.

It is very very close to Dambulla City. A good safe place to stay with good accomodation facility. Worth for the money paid. Milan and Family is very helpful and breakfast was really Good and tasty. They have arranged additional meals for our friends as well. Clean and tidy place.

“Homestay @ Dambulla”

We only stayed for one night. The place is very close to the market area. The owner is very helpful and polite. The home made breakfast was also very good.

Very nice family running the small place; well equipped, clean rooms with a/c, everything working fine; great Sri-Lankan breakfast and dinner; quiet road in walking distance to town centre and markets; good value for money; this was our second stay here after two years - and we will come again!

In the picture they show got cooking equipment but once go there no gas stove.

Room was clean and comfortable, AC working properly, it was located a little bit to the side but close to the main city junction. The host was one of a kind, greeted us with home grown mango, very helpful, his brother is a tuk tuk driver, sister cooks home Sri Lankan food (delicious, don’t go out to some restaurant). People are very friendly, it was like an experience :)

Milan was absolutely lovely! He taught us to play Carrom with his little brother, cooked us delicious breakfasts, and was the perfect host!

Very friendly owner, we enjoyed the breakfast. Quiet place in Dambulla, but close to the cave temple.

Really nice hosts, clean and cozy room, excellent breakfast. Accommodation also offer their own tuk tuk. Highly recommend.
