“Jungle location with lots of bird life.”

The host was great. Breakfast was included. The host provided tuktuk transport and suggestions . The jungle location was nice. Very comfortable villa.

Everything was perfect. The owner Priya was super kind and helpful. The room is nice and spacious with good aircon, and a cute terrace in front.

A magnificent stay that you absolutely must experience! + The kindness of the family who go out of their way to please us while remaining discreet. They always ask us the day before what we want to eat so they can prepare it for us. Exceptional breakfast. The evening meal was a delight. Typical Sri Lankan cuisine, delicious and varied, all homemade, with plenty of fresh fruit. Our stay was initially planned for one night, but we extended it to four nights because we enjoyed it so much. At our request, Priyantha, the owner, arranged visits for us at unbeatable prices! He is much cheaper than the local guides in Polonaruwa, yet he takes us there (a little over 1 hour of transport) and shows us around the different sites. Or an elephant safari which cost us 3 people less than for one person according to the operators! He also organized a bike tour and another time a romantic meal in the rice paddies. A memorable moment. What is very pleasant is Priyantha's discreet and always jovial presence. Never to push us to consume. On the contrary, he gives us advice to avoid being scammed. Well located, as it is centrally located to many sites accessible within 1 hour, which avoids the need to change accommodations. All this in a magnificent setting and at an unbeatable price-quality ratio. -

“Cozy stay and friendly owner”

Homestay as itself is really cozy and chill. Room was clean, with AC, and has enough space for two backpackers. Breakfast was tasty, everyday it has slightly change which was good. You can plan your time of breakfast depending on your activities. In room is water bottle, kettle, tea and coffee so you can make it anytime you want. Location of the homestay is little bit out of town, so you need to use tuktuk all the time you want to go somewhere, but Priya - the owner owns a tuk tuk and he can give you ride. He is really friendly and he was willing to help us (give us ride, pick us up, give a tour) anytime we ask him or texted him :) So far the best stay in Sri Lanka :)

Piya and his family were excellent hosts. They gave us space and comfort, they were very kind and helpful. They organized everything what came to our mind. He also showed us interesting places in the area which are not shown on the internet - you have to be a local to know them. The food was delicious and in big portions, and everyday we ate something new. We will definitely visit this place if we are ever again in Sri Lanka. Place is away from a main road which is an advantage and disadvantage - this means the place is very quiet and calm. There are shops with essentials like water and toothpaste very close. But if something is needed - you can get a tuktuk or a bike. There are really friendly people in the area. We felt very welcomed.

I had a wonderful stay at Priya Homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. “A great get away!”

Piya the owner and Sucheera were wonderful hosts. I had two tuk tuk tours with Piya who even climbed up Pidurangala rock with me and arranged for me to see an ayurvedic doctor. I had the best meal, fish curry and an assortment of vegetable curry made by Piya's wife. I was very sad to leave, a peaceful retreat and would highly recommend for a peaceful unforgettable stay!

I really liked this place it was so beautiful there was a big garden and like 2 min away was a small river where u could go swimming. The owners were so nice and took me everywhere i wanted. Also they have a restaurant at the homestay and the food was delicious. You will have a great stay there for sure!

You could order from the very nice cute young woman(who does everythingthere)what you like to eat and she makes it, she did her very best, even for my son, what is a quite difficult story. She is very lovely and polite. Nice garden and place too.
