“One of the most enjoyable homestay experiences I have ever had.”
Quiet and convenient location. The food prepared by Nadeeka was amazing authentic Sri Lankan food using ocal ingredients. All requests were satisfied. Friendly family members and a surprise cultural performance by Nadeeka and Yatawatha's daughters Nishadi and Vishni! One of the most enjoyable homestay experiences I have had.

The host was a lovely smiley lady. I loved her greeting and how sweet she was. She cooked me a nice breakfast. This is a cheap room so I guess one can expect basic conditions. For me though, the fungus was harsh even in the cheap room. I stayed in Sri Lanka in more expensive rooms with fungus, so at least I give the compliment here that the room is not overpriced for the conditions offered. If someone is ok with basic conditions, then the room is perfectly ok. The sheets seemed clean and the bed was ok. I hope that the hosts will be able to renovate the bathroom because the place has the potential. I wish them luck.

Super nice and helpful owner. Comfortable room and little terrace opening on a nice garden. Nice breakfast. Ideal location a bit off the noisy center and close to the golden temple
