Very kind people, perfect to stay for the cave temple, and good breakfast

Our stay here was wonderful, the hosts are lovely. They were very welcoming, helped us with plans and even drove us to the bus stop on departure. The room is nice, with good ac and en suite. The breakfast was nice too.

Fantastic location, walking distance to the cave temples. Super warm and welcoming hosts, who made us a delicious breakfast and were keen to help us explore the local area. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

The owners were super helpful and nice and from the guest house you could reach the Cave Temple in about 15 minutes by foot.

I spent 2 nights at this wonderful home stay. The wife and her husband are amazing people. The night I arrived the wife cooked me a lovely diner and next morning the husband took me on a amazing day trip I would definitely recommend this home stay and I would for sure stay here again

Very friendly host. Super convenient location. Had car parking for us. Comfy rooms with Aircon and good washroom facilities.

Beautiful surroundings and property, very clean, and super kind and friendly hosts. Short walk to town and great restaurants. Quiet at night which makes for great sleep.

One of the best our accommodation in Srí Lanka. Owner And his wife Are very pleasant people. If you want to visit Sigiria and many other places around, come right here. Don't hesitate to ask the owner to be your guide for a day trip or order a delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner. It will definitely be a wonderful experience.

“Good stay at competitive price”

This is a homestay. The room was small but clean and enough for two person tbh. The owners were a very sweet couple and we had a great breakfast in morning. You do need to pay some extra bucks for milk tea, but black tea is not chargeable and included in the breakfast itself. We had mirror in the room, which was nice. Overall a good stay at the price.

“Perfect stay!”

We had a great time thanks to welcoming owners and comfortable rooms. Food was absolutely amazing (you have to go for the private dinner option!). We also decided for private tripy with the owner that allowed us to see less typical places and get to know local culture a little bit more. Many thanks once again for those great memories! :)

Everything was great. Food, fast wifi, staff and of course the view! Great place to stay in Dambulla!

Indunil & Lashini, husband & wife, were very caring hosts. Indunil gave us valuable tips about visiting the area and Lashini cooked delicious meals. Professional yet easygoing attitude. The family guesthouse is off the main road, in a quiet area, within walking distance to the Dambulla Caves. The room was very new, modern, spacious, it was very clean, cozy and air-conditioning was great. You can tell that the hosts are passionate, honest and care about details. Best of luck to the Perfect Hideout!

“Lovely stay in Dambulla”

Indunil and Laschini were delightful hosts. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Indunil also drove us to interesting places and took us to our next accommodation.

Staying at Perfect Hideout was truly an amazing experience! 😍😍😍😍. The room and facilities were spotless and absolutely perfect. The lovely host prepared us incredible traditional Sri Lankan meals that we will never forget, and her husband went above and beyond by taking us on a fantastic tour to Pidurangala Rock and many other local spots. He also arranged a very affordable safari where we were lucky enough to see elephants up close! On top of that, they even picked us up and made everything so easy for us. This place is not only a wonderful hostel, but it also offers a full experience of Sri Lanka thanks to the kindness and dedication of the hosts. Highly recommended – we couldn’t have asked for more! 🙏🫶

“Perfect, clean and pretty place to see Dambulla cave temples as well as Sigiriya rock well”

Everything was amazing! Communication with Indunil has been great since booking the room. The room and entire place was really pretty and very clean. We enjoyed seeing a sunset on our first night and then doing a tour the next day. Indunil really showed us some hidden gems. He also went above and beyond to book a safari for us on the next day. I can really recommend staying here.

We had a short but wonderful stay at Inundil’s house. He is a great and very kind host who takes excellent care of his guests. He kindly offered to drive us to the Golden Temple, which is just a few minutes from the house, and waited for us to finish the visit to bring us back home, where his wife prepared a delicious dinner in their beautiful garden. We would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here.

“Friendly hosts; Location ok.”

The hosts were amazing! They helped us organise a safari and were great at communication. The room was fairly clean - though bags are needed in the garbage bins. The AC was welcomed during the heat wave. Breakfast was lovely!
