“Not that good as it appears on the photos”
The location was good and the staff was kind. Otherwise a rundown place ,which,despite the photos, don't look good at all in the reality. It was somehow passable for one night for this price, but only if you are flexible regarding the standards and cleanliness, and keep in mind that the pictures are too good for the reality.

“Extremely good value for money”
- The host was super nice - found us a driver from the airport that stayed with us for the next two days; when we said we were hungry (at around 9pm after coming from the airport) he arranged that the nearby restaurant opened just for us; he was always willing to help and make all our requests possible. - The location is very good, near the dambulla caves. - The breakfast was good, included a coffee/tea, juice/smoothie, bread, butter, jam, eggs and fruits. - How good of a value for money this accommodation was is beyond my understanding

It was an okay stay and fine for one night. Nicely located in a 10/15min walking distance to the cave temple. Provided and catered breakfast for us and our requests, which was nice.
