The location is fabulous, 10 min walk to Dambulla cave temple and 25 min Tuk Tuk to Siguria Lion rock Rooms are big and clean and the host couldn’t do enough for us, just marvellous.

Fabulous location, only a few minutes walk from the cave temples. The host and family are so lovely and helpful - they helped us book a taxi to our next location and warned us about local tuktuk drivers charging unreasonable rates. The breakfast supplied was delicious and different each day. The room and bathroom themselves are very modern and clean - the best we have experience in three weeks in Sri Lanka. A truly wonderful experience, we highly recommend!

“A great base for our stay in Dambulla”

A great location for visiting the Dambulla Caves. The property was clean and neat and it was good to have a kettle to make hot drinks. We appreciated the mosquito net, and the shower was good and hot. We stayed for three nights and the breakfast served each day was extremely tasty, authentic and with a good variety of Sri Lankan delights. Our host was really helpful and dropped us at the bus stand for our onward journey, which was very much appreciated!

Location 15min away from cave temple and from city centre by walk, high class room & bathroom (hot water), AC, good breakfast. Very helpful host for transfers & excursions!

“Great place to stay in Dambulla”

Great place to stay. The room was big, clean and smelled good. The bed was very comfortable. The area is very quiet but is close to the main road with shops and restaurants. It's also very close to the cave temple entrance (15 mins walk / 5 minutes with tuktuk). Reasonable price, good breakfast and very friendly / helpful owners. One of the best places I stayed in Sri Lanka.

Fantastic friendly hosts, always happy to help with suggestions on buses or tours. Fantastic local homemade breakfast. Very clean room.

“A warm welcome into a beautiful home”

Spacious rooms and bathrooms, plenty of space to unpack and spread out. Beautiful outdoor sitting area for each room, which complimentary breakfast is served each morning at whatever time you request (made vegan for us) Owner and his family are all very friendly and kind, never felt like a burden with anything. Helped organize us a driver to take us to Sigyria for the day (driver was also a lovely guy who stopped to tell us interesting facts about the local life along the way, waiting for us while we climbed lions rock and had lunch and offering to stop at other tourist sites on the way back all for a very fair price) Accomodation is about 20-30 minute walk to the main town but there are restaurants and small shops 5-10 minutes away. Dambulla golden temple and cave temple both only 15-20 minute walk away from accomodation. Would highly recommend a stay here, excellent value for money!

super comfy bed, good food, great shower pressure, cute kids, lovely host. It is 15 mins walk to the caves, very quiet. one could also run in the area or cycle. Special treat: The man of the house did my laundry;)!

Thank you Roe for a comfortable time at Miracle Home Stay. Location is within walking distance of the town centre and the Dambulla Cave complex and an easy tuk tuk ride to Sigirya. Great, quiet place. Nearby temples, within walking distance. Terrace with a view of nature. Recently renovated room and modern bathroom. There is hot water. Very tasty breakfast and helpful and pleasant host. I would like to come back again.
