“Amazing stay with fantastic owner”
The location was great easy walk to town but wasn’t on a main road. The bedroom and shower were all in good condition and worked perfectly. The owner accommodated dietary requirements and preferences every meal (the food was great). We asked for a cream soda and the owner said sure thing, got in his tuk tuk drive to the shop and brought one back for us. The owner even played a Sri Lankan board game with us on two occasions, making the place feel very friendly and welcoming.

“Good location and value for money.”
Accommodation is perfectly positioned for everything that you need in the town such as banks and eateries etc. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and everything cooked and prepared freshly. The owner speaks English very well and is able to provide lots of information about things to do and onward travel within the country. He is very keen to be helpful as are all his friendly stuff. Sometimes a bit too keen! It was spotlessly clean. That is also a nice communal area outside. It is set back from the main road and very quiet. The Wi-Fi was good. The owner is able to arrange tours to visit the local elephant reserves. It's good value for money.

Gama, his son, and the entire staff made us feel at home from the very first minute: kind, welcoming, and attentive. The location is perfect, and the lunch was excellent, with simple and fresh food. We truly felt at home.

Run by a father and son team who were extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. We stayed following recommendations by family who visited last year, it was our first stop in Sri Lanka and a great place to find our feet. We went on tours organised by Gamagedara and they were excellent. Highly recommend.

“Pleasant stay”
The rooms upstairs are very nice and comfortable, the one aT the ground floor have a strong smell of humidity which is very common in the area. The owner makes his best to make a comfortable stay to his guests and he is doing great. You can eat breakfast and dinner there, there are few options but portions are enough. Staff is very kind and helpful even if nobody speak any foreign language or English at least. Only the owner speaks fluently. Overall our stay was great here. Thank you

“Cozy and super friendly stay with a lot of options”
Very nice family business and a lot of options for tourists from food to trips. We did a trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla Temple that was very nice. Driver was super professional while driving and we felt really safe (rarely happens in Sri Lanka). He also gave us some nice infos about the culture and everything. The bed was comfortable and we got everything we needed. Food was also really nice and every family member assured that we got everything.
