Staff were very friendly and kind. They helped us plan our visit and gave good recommendations. They also went the extra mile when cleaning our room. The pool was lovely to have and it was nice that staff kept it leaf-free for us.

The stay was truly amazing — one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The cleanliness was excellent and the location was great. The host was extremely helpful: he arranged taxis and tuk-tuks for very reasonable prices, always gave us advice when we asked, and was constantly smiling. He was very kind, pleasant, and simply a genuinely good person. The accommodation also arranged an airport transfer for us, which cost a little over €50 (same price as external companies). Some reviews here mention that the pool is dirty, but that was not true in our case. There are trees around, so occasionally a few leaves fall in, but otherwise the water was clean and everything was regularly maintained. The breakfasts were the best we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka — the most generous and with the best price-to-quality ratio.

Manusha (front of house) was exceptional , always greeted you with a smile . He contacted via WhatsApp, instantly replied and arranged transport to all areas of note at very good prices . As good a front of house as I have ever encountered. The owner ferried us in and out of town as and when we wanted as well . Would recommend for anyone wanting to do Siguriya , the temples and the jeep safari .

Very nice place, wonderful and helpful staff and owners. Excellent and varied breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there. They helped us to organise our visit to archeological sites and transfer to Kandy.

The staff was extremely kind and available to help us in every kind of request: delivery food, tuktuk/taxi call, restaurants advice. They also propose activities like elephant safaris and Sigiriya rock. Breakfast (not included in our fare) is very rich and typical. The hotel is a nice play to stay, only 10 minutes away from the city center, and really close to a fantastic local market where you can find the real Sri Lanka. They accept credit card for payments.

The location is great, close to the main part of Dambula, but off the Main Street. Very easy to get to local restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

The staff especially Manusha were top tier. Whatever you needed help with their response was immediate and regularly gave free tuk tuk rides into town and into nearby areas (which are already really close). The room was very clean and had good air con. Though there are some areas lacking with the right adjustments this place can be a fantastic stay in Dambulla, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend it to others

Manusha is an absolute sweetheart and phenomenal host. We were fully taken care of and got to enjoy the pool all to ourselves. Manusha gave us directions to a local eatery and even took us there whilst it was quiet. Couldn’t be a better host. We were so grateful and wished we could’ve stayed longer.
