“Great stay and location”

Really good place. Location was perfect it was in city center but hidded in corner and had cool garden so it was quiet. The best thing it was really close to bus stop so we had no problems with traveling to Polonnaruwa for one day trip or then to Kandy. The breakfast was tasty. The is a mosquito net inside room. The room was clean. Owner was helpful and arranged a tuktuk for sigiryga trip.

we didn’t find a host, we found a friend, someone even cried before leaving, he was extremely kind and helpful in organising trips to the principal sites of the area, he recommended great places where to go to eat and he even booked the seats on the bus when we left and offered homemade rice and coconut for breakfast and lots of fruit. he also always answered our (many) questions about sri lanka

I liked our host (Demi), he was cheerful and very helpful. He got in touch with us a few days before regarding our arrival plans and guided us where to drop off to get to his location. He arranged a very good Tuktuk for us to explore Sigiriye and at a very reasonable price. The place was at an ideal location from the center.

The room was clean, location very good- close to the bus station and the owner was very friendly.

The family lives there and you can chat with locals, the owner is very helpful arranged my trips to a very good price, got me discounts as a single traveller👍 its very central and has a beautiful garden to escape the traffic of the city. Loved it❤️

As the scores suggested. Excellent cooking too if opted for. Best to ask host when she would be ready to provide evening meal rather than making the timing your decision. This in order to have the meal hot.

“Home away from home”

Fantastic, family-friendly accommodation, with such a kind and helpful owner that we felt like family members. For example, one evening they cooked dinner for themselves and offered it to us . Very good value for money. Good location, close to shops and restaurants. The accommodation is located in a wonderful garden, truly a paradise in the city. The room is cozy, with well-functioning air conditioning, comfortable bed, bathroom with all necessary toiletries, good hot water. Wifi works great, which is rare in Sri Lanka. We had our own terrace in front of the room, we really enjoyed it. The breakfast is fantastic, served on the terrace at the time you request. You can ask for continental and Sri Lankan, it is worth choosing Sri Lankan, the owner cooks it fresh and it is very delicious. The accommodation also organizes trips, at a good price, one of the family members, Nisan is an excellent driver and helps with everything. He picked us up from the previous city, took us to Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura and to our next accommodation in Kandy.

The location is close to the bus station, restaurants/cafés, and a moderate walk to the Cave Temples. The host was very helpful with all questions asked.

This place is a secret treasure. It is right in the centre of town but so quiet and peaceful. The family is very lovely and helpful. They left us to ourselves but were available any time we needed them. Connected us with super great Tuk Tuk Driver and a car driver for out of town. Would definitely stay here again.

The host tried everything to make it nice and helped us with the bus schedule. There was a small garden where we could have our breakfast.
