“Peaceful and beautiful accomodation”

Our stay at Blue Mountains View was so amazing. We loved staying here in the calm, serene and peaceful surroundings of Sri Lankan farm land. The nature is beautiful and the food was also very delicious. Pradeep and his family made our time very special and one of the most unique accommodations in Sri Lanka. We are looking forward to seeing them again and can definitely recommend this hotel!

Every part of the experience at Blue Mountains View is considered and completed beautifully. We loved that the property was out of town, calm, quiet and relaxing. Pradeep, his family, and crew are kind, warm and welcoming people. The food was delicious and the hospitality first class. Pradeep helped organise all transport and activities and ensured we had a safe and comfortable journey wherever we were headed.

One of the best places we stayed during our trip. Very peaceful and quiet. We had the chance to visit the farm of the owner, which was a great experience. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and Pradeep, the owner, was amazing — always happy to give us advice and help us plan our journey. We also had dinner there, and the food was absolutely delicious! “Amazing Setting, Wonderful People, and Exceptional Food”

Best location of our whole trip. The room was very nice, and the surroundings were absolutely amazing—right in the middle of a banana plantation. The people were incredibly kind, and the accommodation even prepared a takeaway breakfast for our early departure, which we really appreciated. We loved the pool, and the guided walk to the sunset viewpoint was a real highlight. Dinner was the best we had on our entire trip, especially with the home‑grown vegetables. It’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer.

Far away but thats the point of it! Local cooked dinner/lunch with own Products. Nice evening W Program and morning Program. Pool is very nice. The People are great and kind. You will learn a lot about Farming and village life while also relaxing there

“A true hidden paradise in the heart of nature”

Everything. The place is absolutely stunning, right in the middle of lush coconut and banana trees. The rooms are exceptional, the food is fantastic and homemade with local products, and Pradeep and his family plus the whole staff are simply amazing. We felt so cared for and would come back in a heartbeat.

I cannot describe in words how amazing this place is and the people are so great. It was insanely beautiful; both the rooms & general area. But what touched us the most were the beautiful personal stories and lessons we took from this. It was very wholesome!

Authentic Sri Lankan experience with very friendly and helpful staff. You were made to feel part of the family. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Great pool and amazing vegan breakfast and dinner.

This lovely guest house has a home stay feel to it. The vegan food is delicious and authentic - we especially enjoyed the dinners. Pradeep and his family and team of staff were very welcoming and full of interesting information about the area and the organic farm they run in addition to the guest house. The short guided walk around the property was a real insight. Room was clean and had lovely views. We liked the open air en suite bathroom! The swimming pool is pristine and was very enjoyable in the humid conditions.

A beautiful setting in a quiet location out of town. The farm and facilities including a pool were lovely. We particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked food from the farm. We chose the basic room as we were on a budget but the upgraded rooms were much nicer. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. The tours that were arranged for us by the family were very good.

This is a very special place in the countryside, I wish we could have stayed multiple nights to really enjoy the place and its surroundings. The swimming pool was a 10 and the bed was comfortable.

Hands down the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. We instantly felt welcomed by everyone and the energy around this place made us want to stay longer. Thank you again for this amazing time!

Pradeep and his family were truly exceptional hosts and made our stay feel incredibly special from start to finish. Being welcomed into their farmland and learning about how they live and grow their produce made the experience feel completely unique. The food was outstanding, all freshly prepared using ingredients from the farm and we loved trying dishes we’d never had before, from coconut pancakes to sweet red bananas. Pradeep also organised wonderful excursions for us, including a day trip with a Golden Temple visit, the climb up Pidurangala Rock, and a half-day safari where we saw elephants in the wild all arranged with our own private jeep at excellent value. It was an unforgettable, authentic experience and unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before.

“Wonderful calm and lovely staff”

A lovely calm and beautiful place. A farm where all food grows. Nice breakfast and dinner in the evening if you want. Vegetarian and eco and very tasty. The nice staff can help you arrange trips and contact drivers.
