Fantastic!

A nice property and facilities in a quiet street, Nuwan and his family were great hosts with a good breakfast supplied.

We really loved our stay with this local family. The host is really friendly and accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable. The family lives downstairs whilst the two rooms they rent out are upstairs. The neighbourhood is super quiet and the bed very large and comfortable, so we slept well. The breakfast was also large and tasty. Thank you for the lovely stay! :)

The host was amazing. He arranged everything for us. Breakfast was superb. If you like you can get the dinner to it was very nice too. Walking distence to the cave temple and not far away from the dambulla town. The room was big and clean. Everything was nice. Highly recommend. 😊😊

The apartment is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area, just a few minutes’ walk from the Dambulla Cave Temple. Nuwan was very kind and always ready to offer helpful advice. They assist with organizing transportation, tours of the Eco Park and elephants, and his mother prepares delicious dinners. They also help with ordering food from local restaurants, and are truly willing to assist and give advice with absolutely everything.

Spacious and clean, very close to the temple. The hosts were polite and hospitable. They served us delicious breakfast.

Super friendly host and his family who would do anything to make your stay very enjoyable. Delicious food, great quiet location with tuk tuk services. Lift to Sigiria and back was very convenient. Wildlife and cheeky monkeys around! Would highly recommend it!! Thank you Nuwan 😊

“Good value, location and hospitality”

We stayed for 2 nights and it was great. The house is walking distance from the temple caves on a quiet road, but still cheap to get to town in a Tuk Tuk. The host family were above and beyond helpful. Room spotlessly clean. Nawab gave us a lift to a restaurant in town where we had the best meal in Sri Lanka. Restaurant Sandamadala, crab and seafood rice portions, big enough to share. Breakfast at the home stay was also very good. Nawan’s father drove us to Sigiria and a spice farm. A monkey or dog chewed my husband’s sandals which were left outside in the night and by the time we realised they had gone, Nawan had got them repaired at the tailors!

Room is very affordable but spacious and clean. Personel is super nice, breakfast very tasty. Monkeys just outside the windows. Air conditioning works perfectly.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this place with my boyfriend. The accommodation was fantastic – very clean and conveniently located close to the temple, making it a perfect spot for exploring the area.🌏 The owner was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He assisted us in renting a tuk-tuk and even helped us get it running again when it broke down. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference.🥰 The breakfasts were another highlight – hearty, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.😊

“Lovely guesthouse close to Dambulla Caves”

Very spacious room, outdoor balcony area, great dinner & breakfast! Walking distance from the caves & temple.

The host is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The balcony feels like home. Breakfast was very good and the dinner. The nuwan helped to arrange everything. Highly recommended. I will definitely come again.

Amazing place to stay in Dambulla. Nuwan, our host, and gisy family were really nice and helpful. The location was great, the place really clean and the breakfast was absolutely great!!Try also Nuwan's mother dinner, she is the best cook ever! Thanks!

The hotel was very clean and the food was very delicious. The host is super nice and gave us many options for different activities. He made the stay super welcoming and helped us plan the days.

Clean bed and spacious room. The food was amazing and the host and his family were friendly and generous. The area was quiet but it was easy enough to get into Dambula town; the home stay was also very close to the cave temple and rock, an easy 15 minute walk.
