“Great place. But essential services need to be upgraded.”
A beautifully designed property nestled in a jungle setting near Dambulla. The architecture was impressive, rooms were very comfortable, and the vast land added to the peaceful vibe.The lake nearby offers a great view, especially when you walk down closer to it.

“Very disappointing”
We were the only guest in the hotel and it is 30 minutes down an unmade track by the lake. 1/2 the hotel is being built from COVID and they only opened last year. The pool in the photo is closed as are the cabanas around it. The staff were so helpful but unfortunately lacks atmosphere and just isn’t used enough and maintenance not kept up.

“Was good for one night. Could be a great hotel, needs a lot of maintenance. Breakfast was great!”
Staff were very attentive and willing to help. Breakfast was tasty. Nice to have horses on the property and lotus flowers growing.

“Very expensive for what is is. Don’t take the 10 star reviews at face value!”
Hotel grounds are huge and beautiful and I saw wild elephants walk past on a couple of occasions which was amazing! The manager is nice and speaks good English and arranged transportation for me. The other staff are nice however their English is extremely limited.
