The house is very conveniently located between Strasbourg and Colmar. We visited Alsace before Christmas and were delighted by its fairytale atmosphere. And when we returned home... the magic continued! The accommodation is very authentic, located in a medieval house where elements of the old days have been carefully preserved, but at the same time everything is modern, comfortable, and clean. A small drawback is the slight smell in the toilets (there are two, by the way), but it didn't bother us. And yes, there is a road below the windows, so we closed them in the morning to keep it quiet.

Very well maintained, unique and rustic cottage which easily accommodated all of us comfortably! Welcoming and friendly host, everything was provided for and with ease as she lives just next door. An excellent stay!

The property is tastefully decorated and the beds are comfy! It is also located in a very quaint village and people are friendly. It was nice to wake up in the morning and go for a short walk to buy bread from the nearby bakery, they have best gingerbread! We love that everything you need is available at your disposal. Would love to come back again!

This house id furnished with so much attention to details and local rustic furniture! I really love how owners made effort to make it so authentic!

Cosy home in a quiet and pretty village. The living room has books about Alsace which were nice to browse through and wind down after a day out. The restaurant (le pressoir de bacchus) is really good, we were glad we called to make a booking earlier in the day as we saw them turning away customers when it got full. The house is just about 8 minute walk to the vineyards, we saw deer in the hills, there were all types of grapes. The rooms are very comfortable, there are a bit of stairs in the house.

The owner is kind, but does not speak single word English or German, just French. A beautiful little village in the middle of the wine fields. Unfortunately, only one restaurant is open, the grocery store is closed in the evenings. There is nothing else to do but drink at the hotel the wines bought during the day...

“Warm summer in Dambach la Ville in top apartment!”

We have been to Dambach la Ville several times before and rented other apartments. This one is, without doubt, the best we ever visited! Loots of room for two adults and two children, very clean, very cosy, the wifi was extremely fast and covered the whole apartment without problems. It was just a few minutes walk to bakery and restaurants. We were warm welcomed and the host were always nearby, yet private, if there should be any questions. I could write more superlatives but just book it and have a nice stay! 10 points out of 10.
