Overview
Located right along the Dalyan River, this hotel features free public Wi-Fi and rooms with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy their meals in the green garden with river and nature views. Simply designed rooms at Happy Caretta Hotel offer garden view and a bathroom with shower. Breakfast is served in a buffet style. Ruins of ancient city Kaunos with its Hellenistic style rock tombs is a 15-minute boat ride from Hotel Happy Caretta. Iztuzu Beach, one of the main breeding grounds for Loggerhead sea turtles, is 10 km away and can be reached by car or boat. Tour boats are also available departing from hotel's jetty. Guests can join jeep or boat tours around the region. Rafting and micro-light aircraft flights with a bird’s eye view are also popular activities in the area. All sightseeing activities and shuttle services can be arranged at the tour desk. Dalyan town centre is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Dalaman Airport is less than 30 km.

“Very quaint and relaxing”
We have stayed in many of the river facing hotels over the years but the garden within happy Caretta is the difference between them as it is beautiful and very relaxing.

We loved the lush garden setting and the relaxed seating overlooking the river with stunning views across to the ancient tombs. We liked the relaxed family atmosphere and the warm welcome we received from our hosts on arrival.

“Perfect location but hotel needs updating”
We loved the location, quiet enough but near to the town. Beautiful views of the carvings and right by the river. The hotels garden was well maintained and a little oasis.

Superb location on the river in the middle of a lush garden. Very friendly owners and a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfast on the banks of the river. A wonderful place to explore the Dalian Delta and the Istuzu beach.

Exceptionally located on the river. In a quiet lane a little walk away from town. A very pretty garden to relax in. Boats to various trips can pick up and drop off directly from the hotel.

“Little garden paradise”
Just the loveliest little garden backing on to the river (you can swim!) and the nicest Turkish breakfast anywhere (I will come back just for the pişi!). The owners are chill and welcoming. An easy 10 mins walk puts you in the centre of town. The local boats can pick you up from the backyard.

Beautiful, quiet location and right on the river. The deck and the garden are excellent places to chill out, swim, or read a book. The extensive and tasty Turkish breakfast buffet is served at the same riverfront, if you’re lucky you can spot a happy looking Caretta sticking its head out of the water every now and then. Very friendly and attentive owners and staff. Rooms are on the small side but well equipped and fit for purpose. Would be very happy to return one day to this lovely place.

Great location. Friendly owners, clean and comfortable faciities. Able to sit by the river, watch the traffic on the river and viewfamous rock tombs opposite. famous rock tombs. Quirky with well tended mature gardens. Short drive to town which was lovely with interesting shops and plentiful eating and drinking otions. Well worth a visit.

Incredible place, charming, natural, beautiful. Very calm and serene, the perfect place for nature lovers and whoever is looking for a break away from the confusion of the mass tourism. They have various species of birds, well cared, they have access to the river where you can swim, and can easily call a boat to get you to the beach. The owners are caring and heart warming, very nice and genuine people. The breakfast is very good! We will surely stay with them again when we come back to Dalyan.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful garden and atmosphere. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. The view on the river is top. We took a boat from there and this is one of the best hotel you can choose here when you get to see the other options.
