Perfect location and very attentive helpful staff! My son got altitude sickness from going up the cable car and they help to arrange a taxi to the hospital for us late at night. They made a delicious breakfast for us each morning and were always happy to help with any questions we had. The location is wonderful and the view from the rooftop was amazing.

The location and the charm of the property were wonderful. On top of that the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We used to translator to communicate with them and nothing was too difficult for them to help us arrange. They make a wonderful breakfast for you in the morning and the position is right next to one of the old town gates so you have a great view from the rooftop at night time. The pictures look exactly like the place I recommend booking here it will not disappoint!!!

“Charming atmosphere”

Everything about it was great. The charming atmosphere was just as depicted in the publicity photos. The staff were excellent and eager to assist. I highly recommend Hidden Hotel.

The staff were very helpful. We couldn't speak much of Chinese and the staff couldn't speak much of English, but we accommodated each other by using Google translate and we kinda understand each other quite well. The night was cold but we had heating mats underneath our bedsheets, so we slept soundly.

Strategically located in the heart of Dali Ancient City means walking distance to many places. Staffs were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were hearty and healthy. Was pleasantly surprised to find the beds equipped with a heater which really helped keeping us warm as it was getting chilly

"Hidden Hotel" is not so hidden and easy to find off the main shopping/restaurant streets in the old town. There is a night market just opposite that has great street food. The host is very accommodating and helpful. She catered both Chinese and Western breakfasts and was always checking-in with us as to our stay. She is a font of all knowledge regarding Dali with recommendations for coffee shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. She was accommodating in arranging an inexpensive car to the airport.

The hotel is at the edge of the old town, you can get it easily especially during the traffic jam. The greenery garden inside the hotel release your tension after exploring the old town.

The rooms were beautifully decorated. The courtyard garden was beautiful and lush. The view from the shared balcony was amazing. The young lady who runs/owns the hotel was extremely nice and helpful and she spoke good English.

Breakfast was traditional chinese cooked by an elderly woman. Guests must not expect too much - either you eat the hard boiled egg and sweet potato or you don't.
