Our stay at White Dune Canyon in Dakhla was truly a great experience from start to finish. The setting alone is something special, surrounded by stunning white canyons, it feels both remote and peaceful, with plenty of opportunities for long, beautiful walks right from your doorstep. The room was spacious, clean, nothing was missing, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The food was consistently good, and what really made the difference was the staff: incredibly welcoming and warm, making us feel at home from the very first day. A real highlight of our trip was the week of kitesurfing lessons. Aziz was an excellent instructor; patient, clear, and encouraging, especially as we were complete beginners. He played a huge role in helping us not only improve quickly but genuinely fall in love with the sport. A special mention also to Ash, who brought great energy to the place. Always smiling and organizing activities, bringing a friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. A big thank you to everyone at the hotel and the kite surf school for such a memorable experience. We would strongly recommend it and truly hope to come back soon.

1.The effort to maintain an ecologically run resort. 2.The landscaping and the spacing between the guest houses. 3. Furnishings were both simple, yet totally elegant 4.The meals were copious and varied. 5.The beds, and bedding were the most comfortable I have ever had outside of home!

Perfect spot a few days of kitesurfing and chill. Private kitesurf spot with a great kite center in the hotel. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Overall great facilities, delicious food, super welcoming staff who organise plenty of fun activities. There is also amazing morning and evening yoga. Great for families, friends as well as solo travelers.

Amazing experience staying one week in White Dune Canyon. Beautiful location, high quality accommodation and perfect service at all levels. The food is delicious and diverse (including vegetarian options). Good wifi, especially in the common zone, good enough to work remotely. Nice vibes overall and especially every sunset with a good soundtrack by the local dj. The kite spot is perfect, both for beginners and advanced since you basically have your own private spot that works both at high and low tide. Special mention to the kite crew for the high quality service, always being there to help and giving very welcoming and nice vibes. We will come back for sure! Thank you for everything! Breakfast was v good - machine coffee (not charged as an extra) would be much appreciated. Also, gluten free options. The mango juice, porridge & crepes were v popular: more fresh fruit would be great too… Meals were generally excellent - but more choice for kids, pls - pizza/ nuggets & chips/ simple pasta & tomato/ pesto sauce Also, more snacks eg chocolate bars/ smoothies/ ice creams between meals for kids pls Incredible service. Wonderful staff. Super cocktails (prices / descriptions of each and of wine would be appreciated- a menu list ). Fantastic bday cake - thank you! And for our breakfast on departure with takeaways pancakes. V kind. Loved the fish & buffet salads etc And the Dune Canyon bonfire, guitar & songs. Spectacular Amazing atmosphere. Brilliant ION kitesurfing club & pool. Pls could steam room not be an extra cost - to warm up sailing after kiting. More activities needed eg bikes/ Stand up Paddleboarding (free, pls!) , boules, paddle tennis etc for down days (low wind).
