Very good value for money. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, and the food was great — especially the fresh fish. The kite facilities are nice and the North Lagoon spot had wind every day. The tent was comfortable and the whole place had a relaxed, familiar atmosphere. They also organized a traditional evening with singing and a bonfire, which was a really nice touch. Thank you!

Our stay was really lovely. We stayed in the new bungalow and it has a direct view of the lagoon when you wake up. The food is really excellent and i have to give a big thank you to the chef, as i am Celiac ( gluten free allergic) and they prepared everyday something for me. The view is one of the best i believe.

Dinner and breakfast were amazing. There’s no formal menu, but the food brought in by the hosts was absolutely delicious. The room isn’t very spacious, but if you’re coming for kitesurfing, you won’t be spending much time inside anyway, so it serves its purpose perfectly. The location is fantastic – right at the end of the lagoon, just 50 meters from the ocean. A true kitesurfing paradise.

This place is a home away from home. The staff welcome you so well, the atmosphere is relaxed, the kite spot is just across the road, easy to enter and great for beginners. I got lessons with a monitor organised by north lagoon and progressed a lot. The rooms are comfortable, as are the beds. We slept well here. Also the food is great. They made all vegetarian food for me, it was all fresh and well made. Thanks a lot North Lagoon!

Great spot, great people and a nice vibe! The food was amazing and all in all you notice that this new place is working hard to earn it's place on the lagoon. I'll be back, I've never recharged my batteries so fast in such a short time!

The hotel itself was a good experience overall. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Food was good, we especially enjoyed the breakfasts — definitely the highlight for me when it came to food. The common areas are nicely designed and offer beautiful views over the lagoon, which is a stunning spot for kitesurfing. We stayed in one of the tents, and while basic, it was comfortable enough. The atmosphere at the hotel is calm and relaxing, if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with access to the lagoon, the hotel part of this place delivers good value, but...

The lagoon is beautiful, at walking distance. The food was very good, and the chef clearly knows what they’re doing. Most of the staff were warm and welcoming. Kitesurfing classes and rental were reasonably priced, and the kite manager genuinely tried to help — I appreciated the effort, even if the approach sometimes felt intrusive, more on this on the negative review.

I’m talking about Mr. Bashir, the epitome of generosity and beautiful stories, as well as the master of desert tea, who treated us multiple times in various places with everything needed—utensils, a desert setting, and without any fatigue or boredom. He added to the beauty of the place with an enjoyable atmosphere that you never tire of. Then there's Naila, the young girl who prepares the tastiest breakfast with skill and finesse. His passion for hospitality shines through every detail, and it's clear that he has poured his heart and soul into making North Lagoon a haven for travelers. Whether it was arranging activities, offering local tips, or simply chatting, Hamza's warmth made my stay feel even more personalized and special. The food at North Lagoon was really, really good—every meal was a delight, showcasing the local flavors and fresh ingredients. It was clear that a lot of love and expertise went into every dish, making dining here a highlight of my stay. My time there wouldn’t have been complete without the exhilarating kiteboarding lessons from Driss. As a coach, he is patient, skilled, and incredibly encouraging. He made learning this thrilling sport not only achievable but also fun. Driss has a way of instilling confidence in his students, and I left each session feeling more accomplished and excited. Amy, the cleaning lady, was always so friendly and thorough, ensuring that everything was spotless and comfortable. Her hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed and added to the overall sense of care and attention to detail. A special shoutout also goes to Bashir, Abu Bakri, and Ousman, who were always ready to lend a hand with a smile. Their dedication and hard work ensured that every aspect of my stay was seamless, from the impeccably maintained rooms to the beautiful surroundings.
