“Magic”

The room was excellent. The location in countryside and approach was magic. Woke up to see cranes flying past and chiffchaffs in trees while still lying in bed. Magic!!

The location was great, out in the countryside with Common Quail calling from the fields nearby. Room was a good size and comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good.

The breakfast was very basic, but sufficient. The location is fantastic in the middle of the fields. Peacocks are beautiful

The mansion's size is impressive as well as how clean and taken care it is. The perfect place for an outdoor event as well. The location is a bit in a middle of nowhere but has its charm and country side vibe. It is a very quite place to stay. The breakfast is super basic -allows you to survive before the proper one but they serve a great coffee and fresh orange juice. Everybody was really friendly too.

Loved the location & character of the property.The room was stylish, & perfect for our stay. Parking & breakfast was included which was an added bonus.

Brilliant hotel. Great location, big rooms. Good breakfast and flocks of Common Cranes passing the window.

“Rural Calm”

We are so glad we chose to stay here on our journey through Spain! The Cortijo is beautiful and has been cared for so well. We loved the decoration with old farm machinery and the fact that there were peacocks and other birds walking around the car park and gardens. The location is lovely and very peaceful. We were nervous about travelling during the pandemic but found the hotel’s measures against Coronavirus to be excellent - removal of unnecessary items in bedrooms, extra plastic coverings on appliances and alcohol hand gel next to every door. It was extremely clean and we felt very safe. The car park also felt safe as we were up a long driveway from the road and there were electric gates at the entry. Our bedroom was lovely - basic in style but with a very comfortable bed and a smart bathroom with a good shower. It was so quiet at this hotel, with just the sound of the birds outside in the morning. The Spanish breakfast was not large but was good and was served at the table, to remain “COVID-secure”. Montse and her team were very pleasant and helpful. We spoke Spanish with the staff - I think other reviewers have commented that it can be difficult to communicate without at least some Spanish, as you would expect in a rural location. We hope to return to this hotel in the future, perhaps for leisure and to visit the Tablas de Daimiel that are not far away.
