I recently visited Dahab for a relaxing sunny holiday. Being my first time in the area I wasn't quite sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The accommodation itself was spacious, with even a little outside area to unwind. Swiss Royal is just a short walk to the lagoon and lighthouse, which made exploring the area easy. The weather was a touch on the windy side during my visit, so I didn't get to make the most of the rooftop terrace, though I've no doubt it's a brilliant spot during the warmer months! The host, Teleb, was an absolute standout. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel genuinely welcome, showing me around and making sure I had everything I needed. As I was working remotely during my stay, he went out of his way to ensure a reliable wifi connection. Throughout my time there, he was responsive, helpful, and always on hand whenever I needed anything. He organised and took care of all the trips I ended-up doing and I didn't have to worry about anything. All in all, a great stay, largely thanks to Teleb's warmth and attentiveness.

Very pleasent place to stay and an incredibly helpful host! When my flight was delayed and I missed my connection Teleb was incredibly helpful with advice and organised the transfer to the hotel to wait for me. I'm super grateful. Definetely recommend!

A very comfortable villa with a nice roof top. We had there every day a lovely made breakfast. Thanks to Ibrahim, who was very helpful and made our stay as easy as possible. We can recommend the suite and join here again.

Most importantly: there is an amazing staff: Ibrahim and his younger brother are just amazingly friendly and helpful. You see their friendly faces when you arrive, at breakfast, when you need them and when you check out. They are the anchors of this hotel. The breakfast is offered on the rooftop, which is fabulous! The options were great (Egyptian or European). The same rooftop terrace can also be used during the day for reading or just relaxing.

My stay at the Swiss Royal Dahab was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible hospitality and kindness of Teleb and Ibrahim. As I was traveling alone and recovering from an injury, I was looking for a place where I could feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for—and I couldn’t have chosen better. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to rest and recover. The suite was perfect, offering beautiful views of the lagoon. I especially loved the rooftop terrace, where breakfast was served—the continental breakfast was delicious—and it was also a wonderful spot to relax in the afternoon. The entire atmosphere was both peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I cannot recommend Swiss Royal Dahab highly enough for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and home-like experience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of me.

“An enjoyable stay”

The hotel was spotless. Great communication, from receiving the WiFi code the day before to a message explaining there was a power outage due to bad weather (all resolved by the time we awoke and received the message as my phone was off). Great location, walking distance to everything but far enough away to not be in the centre. Breakfast was disappointing as the cheese and meat was quite processed but the delicious yogurt and honey made up for it. Overall a most enjoyable overnight stay, wish we'd booked 2 nights.

The stuff was very nice looking after you nicely Ahmed and Ibrahim was exceptional lovely people. Swiss Royal, it’s full of charm and I’ve something really unique ….. if you go to the top of the hotel where they serve you breakfast you can see all desert mountain is absolutely stunning and magic. You want to stay there meditate and don’t go anywhere because everything is there to show you how beautiful this place is.

“A Quick Stay In Dahab”

A very nice place, the staff were very Hospitable indeed. Breakfast on the roof was a simple but great touch! Well Done!

We chose the Villa and it was extraordinary. From A-Z, the service, cleanliness, and food was perfect. We had options of a continental breakfast that consisted of basics needed to keep you energized the whole day and an option of a traditional Egyptian breakfast which was extremely tasteful. Only 5 minutes from the lagoon and 5 minutes from the boardwalk area which made it a perfect walking distance. Thank you Ibrahim for giving us a great time. We will definitely be coming again and with a bigger group and booking both Villas. Thank you

Just 3 min walk to the Main Street of Dhab. Quiet but convenient. The owner and the staffs are very warm and nice!
