It’s the kind of quiet that actually lets you sleep in and recharge your batteries. rooms are big and comfy What truly makes this place special is the staff. Khaled and Sharef were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and genuine hospitality. You don't feel like just another guest here; they make you feel like family.

We had a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. Although it’s a three-star hotel, the staff’s kind and excellent service makes it feel like a five-star experience or more. We received especially great help from Sherif, who took thoughtful care to ensure we had a comfortable holiday. We are very grateful. The room is spacious and clean, and the breakfast was great too. It’s located close to the center of Dahab and the sea, yet set one block inside, making it a quiet place to relax. Highly recommended.

Our stay at this small hotel in Dahab was far more than just accommodation — it was an experience we will carry in our hearts forever. From the first moment, the hotel felt like a peaceful little oasis, beautifully cared for and filled with warmth. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast every day and had dinner twice at the restaurant; the food was delicious, well prepared, and very reasonably priced. What truly makes this hotel extraordinary are the people. Sherif and Karim are not just hotel staff — they are genuinely wonderful human beings. They helped us with trip bookings and were always attentive, but when our daughter had an accident, they showed a level of care and compassion we will never forget. They supported us every step of the way and even drove with us to the hospital twice, staying by our side during a very stressful time. In a foreign country, this kindness meant everything to us. We stayed at two other hotels in Sinai during our trip, but this one stood out far above the rest. It became the emotional highlight of our journey, thanks to the heart, dedication, and humanity of the team. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone at the hotel. We are deeply grateful and hope to return one day.

This experience was simply amazing! As soon as I walked into the hotel, the first thing I felt was that the overall environment was bright and comfortable, instantly making me feel relaxed and happy. The hotel staff, Ali, Adel, and Mr. Kareem, were extremely warm and friendly, and their service was first-class. Once, after we went fishing, they took the initiative to offer to grill the fish we caught, and it tasted surprisingly delicious. I truly felt their dedication to creating special experiences for guests. The cleanliness of the guest room was extremely high—it was spotless, and all items were neatly arranged, making me feel very at ease during my stay. Every morning at breakfast, Adel was very attentive, carefully asking about our needs and taking care of every detail. When going out for a dive, they thoughtfully reminded us to bring bath towels. This hotel considers everything for its guests. it is absolutely an excellent choice for accommodation! I will definitely come again next time!

The location was perfect, a short walk into town but nice and quiet and calm away from the noise, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, organising trips for us and accommodating my gluten free diet

The staff, location, food, and facilities were excellent. The team is very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful guidance regarding activities around Dahab, I felt I was in good hands. The staff is truly focused on making your stay as pleasant as possible; we all agree that we had a great time here. Since Sheikh Ali maintains a private atmosphere, it is easy to engage in conversations and get advice on diving, snorkeling, kitesurfing, or hiking tours. For kitesurfing they also have an expert in house :) .My advice: just talk to the staff (e.g., Karim and Sherif) about your plans; they are happy to help and are very reliable. Prices for food and accommodation offer great value. At this location, you will be immersed in Egyptian culture, which I truly valued.

This was my second time staying at this resort, and it was even better than the first. Everything is exceptional. The location is fantastic. If you want somewhere very peaceful, and quiet and self-contained, but only a 5 minute walk to the sea and the beautiful prom, this is the place. And the staff will definitely take care of you. Sherif, Khalid and Russia were a pleasure to deal with, and gave us everything we asked for or needed, and more. Highly, highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay. The staff were all brilliant - and helped make it a beautiful holiday. The location was fantastic- walking distance to everywhere - and yet inside the hotel it was a peaceful oasis. The restaurant was delicious - with some of the best food anywhere- good for vegetarians as well as carnivores. We are already missing the breakfast! Sherif and others helped us think about the best activities to go on, restaurants to try, and places to go- we loved every minute. We also loved just exploring locally- the bustle and street food, alongside beautiful sea, mountains, chilled beach cafes and sunshine- hope to come back one day!

Sheikh Ali Hotel is very cozy and comfy. It feels literally like home. When you go out and in, you always feel that you are welcomed, recognised and part of the hotel family. Special thanks to the amazing staff, Sherif, Rasha, Kareem, and Imad who made our stay very special and unforgettable. There was a slight misunderstanding in the room description on Booking, and despite that, they have upgraded our room to a room category that matches the description we had read on Booking. The staff are super helpful, and they're ready to support you with anything you ask and offer you the best options and suggestions. The hotel location is just perfect, it's near everything and central. It is just a walking distance from Almamsha -Dahab and the lighthouse, which is the most popular area for diving. The area is safe and accessible. I would stay at Sheikh Ali Hotel every time I visit Dahab. Thanks once again to all the amazing staff for giving us an ultimate experience and making our holiday memorable.

“Great hotel for a family”

The word to describe the hotel and it's personnel is superb. The rooms are spacious, and a balcony with a picture perfect view. Free cats included into the price of every room! The double rooms have a king size bed and a foldout sofa. The personnel go out of their way to help with everything and the hotel breakfast is absolutely scrumptious. Sherif is an outstanding person, attentive, friendly and caring - your packed lunches for our return flight was greatly appreciated. Thank you guys for such wonderful hosts.

Perfect location very close to restaurants, shops and the beach, but very tranquil at the same time. The restaurant is incredible, but what really sets this hotel apart from others, are the incredible staff that help with everything - there is literally nothing that can’t be done by the hotel’s exceptional team.

recently spent three days at this wonderful hotel in Dahab and it truly exceeded all my expectations. ​The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, and the basic breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The location is fantastic, placing you within easy walking distance of everything you need. ​The pool, though modest, was clean and a great spot to relax. What truly made the stay special was the 7-star service.
