Empathy Guesthouse an affordable property located just a 4-minute walk from Jungangro Station. Featuring clean and comfortable guestrooms, the guesthouse also offers free Wi-Fi access at all areas. This centrally located property is placed a 20-minute walk from the popular Lotte Department Store and an 8-minute walk from Hyundai Department Store. Dong Daegu Station is 5 km away while Daegu International Airport is just 8 km away. Air-conditioned rooms at Empathy Guesthouse include dormitory-style beds. They come with heating facilities and en suite bathrooms with hot-water showers and free toiletries. Guests can utilize the business centre and relax at the common lounge area. Fantastic location with easy access to the metro. Walkable to many shops and restaurants right. The staff were helpful and kind. The accommodation suited our needs and it was great to find somewhere with rooms big enough to fit a family of 5. A great little find in a great area.

“Nice stay, in great location, where money goes towards good cause”
Overall a good stay for the price. Location is very good with many restaurants and shops nearby. Also close to the bus stop, metro and tourist information centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They share some of the revenue with good causes in the local area, we loved that our money is going towards the local community. We arrived late in the evening but they shared instructions for self check in which was very easy. Stayed 2 nights in the 8 bed female dorm. It’s a busy area in the evening but the road is very quiet and we couldn’t hear much outside from the room. Earplugs are also provided. The whole guesthouse was very clean. There is a free water refill and you can use the laundry machines for a small fee.

The rooms were very clean and the staff were helpful. The location is good as it’s near the train station and local bus stations. There’s a private bathroom in each dorm room which is nice.

Good location close to metro (Jungango) and train station. Also, close to the lively Donseongno street with lots of food/bars around as well. Cheap laundry on offer.

“Best hostel in Daegu!!!”
Excellent hostel! Great location next to loads of bars and restaurants and 10 minutes away has loads of more places to eat, shop and play arcades. Green and Orange line station is nearby as well which is convenient. Room is comfortable and has an ensuite bathroom. Nice common area with many books about Korea and local guides. 10/10

“Good place”
The space was nice and wide for shared beds. The staff was so nice to keep my luggage for me for a day for free! The place is kinda close to the metro.

It was very easy to get to and not far away from the main train station. It is central but at night very quiet. It has a very nice cafe right next to it and they have amazing breakfast

“Best location”
The location, the place is part of the cultural trial. I had fun going around collecting stamps at each location. Very close to the traditional medicine museum, markets and shops. I liked how there was a common area near reception. It was great to just hang out or chill. It is also only a couple of stations away from KTX train and the bus terminal (on the same line).
