The authenticity and the cleanliness

The hanok is beautiful and charming. It is surprisingly comfortable to sleep on the futon on the floor, more so that the floor is heated. The toilet was interesting as I've never seen the coway seat before that heats it 😆 the owner is a lovely gentleman who stayed up late for us since we had issues getting there from Busan and arrived late. He was very kind.

The host was the sweetest person ever. He spoke a few words English but with Papago it was all okay. I had some medical issues and he even took me to the hospital and helped me. The rooms were authentic and super clean. The beds were even comfier than expected. Would book this again when I come back to Daegu.

The guesthouse is really cute, the host a really nice person. He made sure to be there to great us personally upon arrival and also when we left. The room we stayed in was nice, with own bath and sleeping “on the floor” was actually really comfortable. Would come back any time

“A great discovery with prime location in Daegu!”

It was the first time staying in a hanok and sleeping on a futon/the ground. For me it was a bit hard to sleep without a bed because I’m not used to it but my sister didn’t mind at all. The hanok is located ideally next to the metrostation (a spectacular monorail!), it provided everything we needed in the private bedroom and ensuite shower room, plus there were amenities like shampoo, showergel etc - and a nice shares space for water, tea with a dining area. We could easily switch on airconditioning or floor heating. The owner is super helpful and made sure we felt welcome. Also located near the market, Daegu music street etc.

“Fantastic city Hanok stay”

A perfect Hanok stay. Comfortable bedding. Super bathroom with small towels and toiletries provided. All very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful host - good communicating via the app and lent us umbrellas in a downpour ! Safe parking for our car. Wonderful location, easy to access bus, metro and sky train.

Loved that it was a traditional house in the middle of the big city. A change from the ordinary hotel experience. Guesthouse was near the tram as well as many of the sights. Mr. Kim was a gracious host.
