I like the quietness here. There's a main road right outside the door, making transportation convenient and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

“Good room at a nice location, can get very noisy at times”

I've stayed at Salem House a couple of times now, and I mostly love the place. Good location, spacious junior suite, very kind and helpful hosts and always a good and big breakfast.

Excellent value stay. The junior suite is very spacious and has a nice garden view from the window. Hosts go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and the breakfast is delicious! Will definitely be returning here. The projector with built in Netflix and Youtube was great. I find the location to be one of the biggest plus of this stay. Away from the noice of the city, and still at less than 5 minutes walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Even walking to the center only takes 30 minutes, or a 5 minute scooter ride.

​I had an incredible stay that offered exceptional value. The junior suite was impressively spacious and featured a lovely, peaceful garden view right from the window. The hosts truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious—a highlight of every morning! ​The addition of a projector with built-in Netflix and YouTube was a fantastic touch, making for some very cozy evenings. ​For me, the location is one of the biggest highlights. It’s tucked away from the city noise, yet only a 5-minute walk to local restaurants and the supermarket. If you want to head into the center, it’s a pleasant 30-minute walk or a quick 5-minute scooter ride. I will definitely be returning here!

I loved the family! The lady who welcome me was so nice and the mum-owner who I thought for almost the entire time was the sister, was super helpful. The son helped me out when my scooter broke down and came to rescue me and I even got a lift to my bus pick-up. The room was exactly how described with the view to the trees.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It is a family run affair , very relaxing environment with a cosy feel. Vein (not sure spelling is correct here) the main worker there made us feel so welcome and made us a nice breakfast each day! She was friendly , warm and made an effort where she could despite language barriers between us. We couldn't have breakfast our final morning as had to leave early for a bus and she even went out and bought us pastries to take with us instead which was kind - would definitely recommend this homestay! It's a bit far out from the main center but we didn't find this much of an issue since grab/Taxi was easy to find within minutes. Also in that area itself plenty of cafes/restaurants within walking distance.

“Such a lovely place to discover Da Lat”

I thought I would stay one night but I decided to stay 5 nights because they are so nice. (I would have loved to stay longer). The room is clean, spacious and the bathroom as well. The breakfast is super good, they really take care of you. I want to thank you for all the attention you gave me both of you. I loved all the time we spent together (especially dinner). A wonderful cultural exchange. Thank you girls. If I go back to Da Lat there will be no doubt that this is where I will come back ! You create a beautiful atmosphere in this lovely place

The staff was really amazing there ! The room is wonderful. A really good place if you want to visit Dalat on a budget.

Everything was great... clean accommodation, hot shower, they provided laundry, scooter rental, bus tickets and a delicious breakfast every day. The owner is very kind and very nice...

The room was clean decent sized and had cute zebra bedding. The breakfast and drinks were all included which was lovely. It was very cheap.

Nicest staff, let us leave our bags after check out as our flight was late. They waited for us to arrive quite late and made a lovely breakfast. Definitely recommend.
