This family-run hotel is located in front of the long beach at Duhnen, a 10-minute drive from Cuxhaven town centre. Strandhotel Duhnen offers an à la carte restaurant, a beauty salon, and large spa with an indoor swimming pool. The 600 m² Levitas Wellspa (spa area) at Strandhotel Duhnen includes saunas, hot tubs and a range of massages and cosmetic treatments. Built in 2015, the Skylounge is a great place to sunbathe and the ahoi thalasso centre 500 metres away offers courses in yoga, pilates and more. Guests can build sandcastles, go mudflat hiking, sailing or windsurfing here in the Wattenmeer Nature Park. “Pleasant stay, perfect location.”
The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a modern touch, a great shower. The location is gold since it is right next to the beach front. So there are plenty of opportunities for walks, beach hangouts and little adventures.
