Overview
Havenhostel Cuxhaven is centrally located in Cuxhaven, directly at the old fishing harbour. The hostel is a 15-minute walk from the Alte Liebe viewing platform and the departure platform for Helgoland.. Each room at the Havenhostel Cuxhaven will provide you with a flat-screen satellite TV, a desk and a bathroom with slippers and complimentary toiletries. Guests can relax in the shared lounge or on the terrace. Guests are welcome to enjoy drinks and snacks in the bar, and packed lunches are available. “Amazing!”
I loved the room Design, it had an amazing view, the staff was super friendly and it's a good location near the train station and not hard to find, even when it's dark, excellent long drinks and coffee, the bathroom is big and looks nice and the beds feel super comfy, and the rooftop balcony is amazing too, really loved the view I will definitely visit again

“A quiet hotel in a good location.”
The hotel is in a good locarion, five minutes walking from the railway station and 20 minutes from the Helgoland ferry. Staff is helpfull, also in finding a restaurant at 9.30 PM during a snow storm in Cuxhaven. My room had a nice view over the river Elbe. Breakfast in OK.

Very comfortable room and good location for accessing the ferry to Heligoland. Comfortable beds and good extensive buffet breakfast. Secure bike storage which was a priority for us.

Overall, everything was great! The staff was super friendly, the free parking was a big plus, and the room was nice and quiet. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room.

“Nice Stay in Cuxhaven”
Near free public parking and the water. Pleasant walk into town, nice walk to the ferries, but more than a kilometer. Near to the train station. Excellent breakfast, although a little pricey.

I would hardly call it a hostel - I would say it is a hotel, and far above 3 stars! Extremely clean everywhere: both in the room and public spaces; very freiendly and helpful hotel-team. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and its variety is far above than normally expected for 3 stars. And the way the hotel encourages the guests not to order daily cleaning is so nice: each day you refuse from cleaning (by posting a special sign on the room door), they would give you a 5 EUR vaucher that can be exchanged for a drink in their bar at the reception!
