“Hotel with the best view and the sweetest staf”

Staff really want you to have the best stay in Cusco! The view is amazing and location is really nice. In 5 minute walk you have all the cute shops and in 10 minutes you are at the main square. You neede to be in good shape because its up the hill.

“Great week at Hotel Mayu”

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mayu. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, with a special mention to América, who was always ready to assist us throughout our week-long stay. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with towels, soap, a hairdryer, extra blankets, and everything else we needed. Breakfast was generous and enjoyable.

Location is fantastic. Staff we're all amazing! Helpful and welcoming. Allowed us to store our bags for our Salkantay Trek and let us do a later checkout on the last day without a problem. Very kind people.

The people working there are the best! The place has a café with breakfast, snacks, and water, so you have everything you need (including a cheap laundry service!). The location was great — just a few steps away from the main street, which makes it a special experience. Breakfast was awesome — you can choose a hot meal that you would like the chef to make for you. The room had a plug-in heater, which helps as it gets cold sometimes. The room was always tidy and well equipped. This place is located on one of Cusco's most iconic streets. You get to sleep away from all the noise, yet still be in the centre of this magical city. I've already mentioned the positives, but I wanted to highlight one thing. It's the people working there — in reception, the kitchen, the café, or any other position — who make it one of the best experiences we've ever had while travelling. You just feel at home!

We're so happy we chose to stay in Mayu for our time in Cusco. The location is excellent for for visiting the archaeological and other sites nearby and still close to the main plaza and lots of restaurants. The staff were superb, very kind, thoughtful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great bed and good shower. It was nice to have breakfast as well as the little cafe at the front by reception that served delicious coffee.
