Good location, safe, near restaurants and central plaza. Very beautiful building. We stayed 1 night and we were happy that there was a heater in room. Breakfast was ok for 3 star hotel. Front desk girl was helpful.

Hotel Marqueses is beautifully located—just a 4–7 minute walk from some excellent restaurants, local markets (mercados), and key sights in Cusco. The colonial-style architecture adds a unique charm and a sense of history to your stay. What truly sets Hotel Marqueses apart is the staff. From the moment we arrived, Edgar and Valeria at the front desk warmly welcomed us and helped arrange everything from airport transfers to cabs for Machu Picchu. But the star of our stay was ALEX, who went above and beyond—carrying our luggage up and down (note: no elevators), troubleshooting a non-working TV when the kids were restless, and even arranging for oxygen when we experienced mild altitude sickness. His kindness and attentiveness really made a difference. The bathroom had nice hot water, and the colonial ambiance of the property is memorable. “A very nice stay in an impressive hotel in the middle of Cusco.”

Perfect location, right in the middle of the old city of Cusco, everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is very good, although the breakfast room might be a bit chilly. The rooms are nice, might be considered as a bit outdated, but to us it was very charming with the original character of the (very old) building. The fact that we had a little fridge in the room, was a big plus.

Was very unique accomm. Staff were great. Close to main square. Had one day without hot water but was quite comfortable and felt very safe travelling alone. Laundry was very cheap to get done

It is very close to all the main attractions not all that far from the airport A beautyfull 300 year old place looks like an old Spanish Building 2m thick walls 2 courtyards breakfast ok.they even make a take away breakfast for people that have to leave on early excursions
