The location is fantastic for us as it is only an hour or so drive from Johannesburg. We love that we can drive an hour out of the city and feel fully immersed in nature. No TV or WiFi is so welcome and almost forces one to switch off play games braai sleep and just take in the wldlife and surroundings. The tent is fully kitted out with everything one might need.

Everything about this place is wonderful. The tents are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and fully equipped for all you need for a quiet and peaceful bush getaway close to Jhb. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating, and nothing is too much trouble.

Very well appointed self catering unit. Immersed in nature, very relaxing just lazing in the pool and having the wildlife casually grazing nearby. Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings. The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests. We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities. The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion. Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!

The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful. The accomodation is exactly what we were looking for. Perfect for a couple to break away and just enjoy nature.
