Philippe was such a wonderful host. We arrived late and he was pleasant and accommodating. We received a warm welcome and he helped us with our bags just the same. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Exactly what we needed to get our two young daughters in bed and off to sleep. The location is peaceful and we slept soundly. The next morning, we were greeted to a large breakfast with plenty of options. We left well rested and bellies full, to continue our journey. We'd definitely stay again!

Interesting property which was very clean and well equipped. I liked the area close to the bedrooms where you could make drinks etc (excellent choice). Our host Philippe was very convivial and extremely helpful, assisting us with suggestions for interesting places to visit during our 2 night stay. The location is very handy as a stopover before making the crossing to the uk. Soissons is nearby for eating out in the evening (again Philippe had recommendations) and there’s plenty to see around the area. There was a great deal of information on display regarding places to visit depending on your interests. The breakfasts were plentiful and very good.

We loved the location and character of the property which was surrounded by well tended lawned gardens. The house was immaculately clean with everything on hand to make it a wonderful experience including an extensive continental breakfast. We had a great nights sleep and wished we had stayed for more than one night.

The host Phillippe was fantastic and there to greet us when we arrived. He clearly cares about his guests ensuring everything is just right from moment you arrive with a cold beer, to making a reservation at local restaurant for dinner. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless with a lovely view of the countryside. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed exploring his garden and seeing his horse and goats. We would have no hesitation in recommending and look forward to returning in the future as a convenient stopover on our way back to Calais.

“Charming Rural Escape with Warm Hospitality and Peaceful Nature”

Beautiful rural house, very well maintained, extremely clean. We were welcomed with great warmth and slept wonderfully—the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was abundant and the location is fantastic: surrounded by greenery, peaceful, with a river flowing nearby. For the price we paid, it was absolutely worth it. The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but that actually gave us a chance to truly relax. There was even a horse, and the host who welcomed us was incredibly friendly, kind, and charming. It’s a place where we spent a truly lovely night and had a delightful morning. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

As amazing now as 6 years ago ! Beautiful property, with a lovely big garden which is so quiet. Breakfast is just the best. The hosts are great. Just book it !
