We didn't meet Liudmila, our host, but she was easily contactable via the message service. It was a nice cool house which we were grateful for during the heatwave. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook our evening meal. Great shower. It was very quiet at night, so that and a comfortable bed made for a restful night. We would have liked some outside space but we coped and enjoyed our overnight stay. We were able to park our bikes in front of the property. Thanks Liudmila

Self catering accommodation in a fantastic location close to the confluence of the Loire and Allier rivers. The apartment, one of 6 in a refurbished house, was more than comfortable for the two of us and our dog. Perfect riverside walking just across the road. We were only there for an overnight stay but would have very happily stayed for longer (although there are no restaurants or shopping facilities within walking distance).

“Perfect.”
The Lodge is a gorgeous wisteria covered place set in a lovely quiet lane. Inside, the place is beautifully furnished and decorated and packed with rustic French charm with all everything we needed for our stay. The balcony out back was a surprise, the shower was perfect, the bed was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Liudmila met us when we arrived and told us to ask if we needed anything at all. All in all, the perfect place.

Tranquil and beautifully appointed ground floor. We lived the property and the location, and the host was really helpful. We have been very lucky with our stays on this trip, and this was a brilliant find.
