location was pretty, staff were helpful

We had been in the hotel a couple of times before when it was Camino Real. The gardens are the same, still fantastic, the buildings with the rooms still the same, but the ambiance was different: there were so many families, so many kids, it was impossible to use the pool, almost impossible to find a deck chair. Some areas were closed for work in progress. The food was not great especially the evening buffet. The Margaritas were terrible (and I have pictures of previous Margaritas, in the years before: nothing to compare). I know it is not important but a decent Margarita is what you expect in Mexico. Our room was in the -1 floor, still we had light but it was humid the not a very nice sensation. We understand the the new company just started about a month before so that probably there will be possibility of improvement. The staff was very nice, young and kind and nothing really went wrong.

The hotel is magnificent, very tropical looking with the touch of Japanese plants and buildings. Staff is really nice. If you don't mind spending a little bit more and want to enjoy the stay of tranquillity, this is the hotel for you

I loved the pool it was super comfy and I felt relaxed. Another host was being disrespectful of others and staff solved the issue quickly.

Beautiful gardens, comfortable rooms and acceptable wifi connectivity. The possibility of using a small gym and tennis courts free of charge was nice to have. Also, being able to choose between two pools (one at ambient temperature, one at around 38 degrees) was great. While wandering through the gardens you might find a cute black/white cat.

I got a message through booking's platform from Sumiya's official account asking to make a payment. It was a fraud and I had to cancel 3 credit cards. After mentioning this to the staff at the hotel, they had 0 accountability and said that they do not manage Booking. Basically could not even accept a mistake, not what you would expect from a 200+ USD per night hotel.

Breakfast is good, there is a buffet in a beautiful place with lots of options. I just LOVE the gardens in this hotel, I could spend hours there. Rooms are very spacious and nice, I would recommend better pillows.

The property is stunning; the gardens and pools are always amazing, and the rooms are comfortable, cozy, and spacious.
