“Homely and comfortable”
This hostel is run by a beautiful and kind family. The room was homely and comfortable. It was a great bonus to have a kitchen which is hard to find in Cuenca hostels. The family very kindly let us store our bags when we went to Cajas National Park, and shower on return even after check out time. We wish we could have stayed longer and would come again!

Friendly and helpful owners, nice, peaceful location, really close to the historic centre, mercados etc. Had a lovely time here. There is also a kitchen you can use to prepare meals and snacks.

Lola and Sylvia were so lovely and helpful. The place is cozy and comfortable. It is an older building but that adds to the charm. A short walk to the centro historico, and a nice Cafe for breakfast with very friendly service nearby. We would definitely stay here again for our next visit to Cuenca.

“Quality and price in (expensive) Cuenca”
Ecuador... comfort of the bed! The nice cafe around the corner for the included breakfast, my room, Lola the abuelita who helped me with everything, the AMAZING location, the kitchen well equipped and clean, the inside court, the low pricing for quality in Cuenca!

Lovely lady, beautiful old house with an atmosphere, small but clean and cozy room with an awesome view of the city center. Good, hot shower. Small, well equipped kitchen available and plenty of seating in the covered courtyard. It's under a 20min walk from the bus station, under 10min to the main park and there is a small corner store nearby so I found the location great since everything is close but the hotel is on a quiet street.

Very lovely hosts, hot shower with high water pressure, nice room, comphy beds, quiete area if there wouldn't be the chickens yelling at night, very good equipped kitchen. The supermarket "Aki" is 8 mins walk. 10 mins. Walk to the centre, 15 mins. Walk to bus terminal.

“Come here, enjoy your stay and feel like home!”
Very cosy home in a historical building. It takes just a short walk to the beautiful city center which is only a few blocks from here. The kitchen is fully equipped, the hosts are very kind and attentive and make you feel like home from the beginning on. We booked three nights and stayed three more - because Cuenca and it‘s surrounding are amazing. Washing service is possible for only three dollars. Due to COVID they don‘t serve breakfast at the moment but they cleaned and tidied our room every day. Wifi is included and works fine.

“Cozy, wasrm and great ambiance and relationship with the owners, good HQ to tour around Cuenca.”
The owner was very nice, nice conversation in the morning and made sure everything we needed was there, truly helpful. The breakfast, though basic was a good way to start the day. Also the freedom you are given to com and go is nice. The view they have of the cathedral was amazing.
