“Cuenca cutie”
We were fortunate to book this place. It has everything we needed. During our stay at Carnival many restaurants were closed. It was fabulous having a safe haven to return to after along day of touring. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast in the morning was perfect to start the day.

The location is excellent, close to the river, many restaurants and old town. And the hat museum! Couldn't have been better for me! Such a lovely building inside. Good food and beer in a vibrant atmosphere.

It was great and the included breakfast such a bonus. Room was beautiful, shower with great pressure & hot, location great too. Yes it it loud until late (around 1am even on Monday night) butttt if you're tired or a good sleeper it is no problem. I slept immediately & didn't beed earplugs

“Cosy, backpacker hostal”
Lovely rustic hostal with rooms based around the central patio restaurant. Very attentive, understated staff. Great food and just nice backpacker feel to the whole place. Great to see an original building restored like that too

We had a great stay at hostal la cigale. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and the location was great. We even extended our stay as we liked it so much. The breakfast is amazing and also the regular food in their restaurant is good.

Had to leave for the airport at 4:45 am. Too early for breakfast. A small selection of fruit to go would have been nice. Not your fault I had to leave early.
