“Super friendly host with excellent location”

The hosts are very friendly and helpful with the location being close enough to Centro (20mins walk)

Convenient location close to the market, supermarket and about a 15 minute walk to town. Lovely and helpful hosts. Our favourite part was the adorable hostel puppies and kittens!

It had a nice kitchen and big food shop close. Bed was god and showers were warm Easy walk to plaza de Sebastian Owner was help full

The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbor, but I knew that before I booked the room. The owner was very nice,and the value for the price was very good.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed with many blankets, spacious room, towel, toiletries and a bottle of water included, clean hostel, good kitchen, secure property, cute and friendly dog.

“Great place to stay”

Wonderful host who was very kind and attentive. We were able to store our bags during the day after we checked out until we caught our overnight bus. The room was large and comfortable. There was hot water in the shower, ample blankets and even a small heater in our room (which we didn't need to use). Our experience was that the hostel was quite inside and a quiet area generally.

“Amazing place to stay to enjoy Cuenca”

Very welcoming and great facilities. Kitchen was great and hot showers were nice. It gets cold of a night but they provide lots of blankets to stay warm. Only short walk into town. We wish we could have stayed longer

“A place to go back to!”

The guesthouse was really beautiful and comfy. It was clean and tidy and it had hot water (something that is not to be taken for granted in Ecuador). The kitchen was super spacious and well equipped and the view from the balcony exceptional. The location was also really good, close to the city center and not far from the bus terminal. Also, the people that run the house were really friendly, polite and helpful. We actually changed a couple of hostels while in Cuenca cause they didn't meet our expectations (like hot water for example) and we found this one to be a perfect fit. Bella Vista is definitely a place to go back to if ever again in the city.

Ricardo was very friendly and welcoming. Let us check in early after a night bus which is always a blessing. Good well equipped, open kitchen. Comfortable bed and good shower. And the warm welcomes from the little dogs and cat.
