Professional and helpful staff who looked after us, giving us advise of the sites to been seen etc. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with en-suite. A restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. On the Santiago route.

“Charming authentic Spanish hotel”

We happened upon this hotel when travelling West from Santander along the North Coast of Spain. We loved it so much we stayed there on our journey West and again on our return East to Santander. A charming small, family run hotel with no pretentions. Set in lovely natural gardens with it's own outdoor swimming pool. Very authentically Spanish in every way. Very comfortable bedrooms with well fitted out bathrooms. Set up the hill from the beautiful village of Cudillero which is certainly worth a visit for its restaurants and bars. Hotel Vitorio has at least two very good restaurants nearby within easy walking distance which there again, we visited more than once. The breakfast is good but basic. Home made tomato spread and apple and kiwi fruit jam. Good coffee. The toasted bread let it down, but other than that it was perfectly fine. All served by the lovely and very funny Mariajose. At the time we stayed, there were the 4 most adorable little kittens in the grounds to add to the charm of this hotel. Parking on site. All highly recommended. Very reasonably priced as well.

The hotel was set in gardens with a pool and parking. The bed was comfortable in a ean room with en suit facilities. A small patio outside the bedroom was nice for sitting outside and had a useful washing line. The manager was friendly and helpful. A local restaurant was only a 5 minute walk away and was pure Spanish entertainment, very enjoyable.

Good location. Room had an innovative heating method with the heater embedded in the wall between the room and the bathroom, and the temperature was easy to adjust. Much appreciated after a long cold walk.

Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Great to have a patio in a pleasant setting with a laundry line.

This quiet hotel represents great value for money, there was a little outside space outside some of the rooms which is a nice extra.

“Great place to stay in Cudillero”

We enjoyed everything! The people at the counter were very friendly, the breakfast was the best we've had: all natural! The room itself is very spacious and the building is an old authentic Asturian house which is very cool. It's an easy walk to Cudillero (20min aprox). Definitely recommend this place!

Nice pool. Rooms fine and good value. Staff could be misinterpreted in being a little abrupt, but that is really a Basque way. After two days we had a good understanding of how they work and all good.
