Beautifully, well maintained property with full kitchen facilities, amazing pool, and beachfront access. The two fulltime caretakers are very welcoming and are available for any issues should any arise (none did). This was the perfect retreat, allowing for long Beach walks, sipping coffee in the mornings while listening to the gentle ocean waves, the sea birds, and the occasional knocking on shells by the local oyster divers. The villa is immaculately kept clean, fresh potable water kept topped up in our suite. The pool is quite large, shallow, one depth, so nice for families with children. Perfect temperature. Very clean. The ocean is swimmable, a few rocky parts to get out to the more sandy areas in the water. It stays shallow for quite a long ways out with some dips here and there of 8-10'. Calm ocean water so safe for children with adult supervision. There is one restaurant, the Faro grill, we ate at one night. Pretty good food and drinks. Pricey. For the most part, we made our own meals at the villa after grocery shopping in bucerias on our way into the villa. There isn't anything really close within walking distance once your there. Everything was perfect! If quiet, serene, relaxation is your goal...this is the place to be. Thank you to Mario and Yolanda for the warm welcome and stay.

The size was perfect. It was good to have a separate closet/room to keep the clutter in the main area down. I would have loved to have a screen door on the balcony so that it would be possible to have the door open all night. I was in Santiago room.

The lovely hotel is right on the beach. There is pool large enough to swim laps. The grounds are spectacular--put together by the original owner, an artist, who collected Mexican artifacts, tiles, and gorgeously designed the villa.

Staff [Yolanda & Mario] - extremely kind & helpful. Authentic Mexican atmosphere and the whole building was spotless. Pool was a good size and deck furniture comfortable and lovely. Many areas for public and/or private use as the space is quite large. Beach in front is quiet and it is a short walking distance to a 5 star hotel for wining and dining. We enjoyed watching the oyster divers each morning while we sipped our coffee on the roof top.

The location was nice. Slightly out of the way, yet a close walk (a bit over a mile) along the beach to la Cruz. A close taxi ride to Bucerios. Sayulita was about 20 miles away so not far as well. I loved that our casita had so many openings to the outside covered by screens. The air flow at night was so lovely as was the view out our window waking up. There are only 7 rooms on the grounds with lots of opportunities to meet others staying there, but also lots of beautiful nooks and crannies to find and hang out in. The pool is lovely and access to the beach is right out in front. Lovely views.

Great Villa, has 9 rooms and is big enough you feel like you are the only person there. Villa has a history to it and was designed by the original owner that recently passed away. It's a treat to spend days around the pool and using the facilities. Occasionally, iguana comes for a swim as well. You can borrow kayaks and head for the ocean. The water is very calm on this side of the bay. Communication with staff via email was great. 50 minutes walk to Bucerias .25 minutes the other way to marina and few restaurants and basic small grocery store.

Jardins is a piece of paradise. Gorgeous location, landscaping, views, and wonderful guests. The isolation is a bit of an inconvenience. Be prepared to take a cab everywhere. What a wonderful place to relax though. Staff is wonderful.
