“Luxury room that is centrally located and good value for money”

In the heart of the village, close to all the amenities. The room and ensuite were very luxurious, even with iPhone chargers at the side of the bed, which was a nice touch. We got an anniversary card from Gillian, which was thoughtful. We had plenty of breakfast items in the room and fridge. We had lunch at Harbour Dunes, which has great views over the beach, and our evening meal was at the St Olaf Hotel, which was good and busy, a good sign. Plenty of walks nearby, including the beach, Slains Castle and Bullers of Buchan to see the seabirds, including puffins.

Astounding level of service and comfort in a beautiful part of the world. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Gillian talked me through all the technology (and copious food) in the room, and my only regret is that I wish I’d stayed longer.

Fantastic, helpful and friendly hosts who are so keen to ensure guests have everything they need without being intrusive. Comfortable room with all facilities and very well-equipped bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic selection and supply of foods for breakfast. Very helpful suggestions for eating and also places to visit. Car charging facilities much appreciated. Cruden Bay is a great location and an attractive spot. Definately a spot and accomodation to return to.

The room was great and absolutely clean. Everything was in perfect order, and we felt comfortable right away. The host was also very nice, super friendly, and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

“What A Gem!!!”

This little gem is beyond 5 stars. Beautifully clean, and decorated to a very high standard with quality furnishings. Gillian the hostess is friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to make guests feel special. The kitchenette is fully stocked with lovely goodies for a continental breakfast. The bed is very comfortable, and the towels are big and fluffy, and high end toiletries are provided. We also received a £20 discount voucher towards a meal at the nearby St.Olaf Golf Hotel, which was a lovely gesture - and the food there was great and to be recommended. We had a super break, coastal walking from Cruden Bay to Boddam via Slains Castle which is sensational, and the views are stunning. The property is in a quiet location and also boasts a beautifully kept private garden where we enjoyed our breakfast on a lovely warm autumn morning. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing, fantastic value for money, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.

The place is small but has absolutely everything you might need. The private parking is very convenient, and we loved the outdoor sitting area. Everything is so thoughtfully designed, with lovely little touches everywhere (like the wine glass holder in the bath). It’s clear a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. A perfect spot for a couple’s getaway — peaceful, cozy, and beautifully done! Highly recommend.
