Spotless room, comfortable bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Lovely staff. Ideal location for walks to the harbour and Slains Castle. Ideal location for golfers!

The hotel is very cozy to be in, even if it is old in style. I never felt overly cold although I could hear the north sea winds blowing wildly against the windows. The selection of whisky's and the food served is just amazing definitely worth staying there for those. The staff were all polite and helpful, very good service. There is some nice history to the area and worth spending time checking them out, most are all within walking distance so make sure to have wellington boots or waterproof hiking shoes.

“Overall, a nice stay”
The friendliness of the staff was excellent. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. We enjoyed reading about the history of the hotel.

“Ideal place for a golf trip and anyone passing through this area of Scotland”
Great country pub in beautiful Cruden Bay. Ideal for golfers and travellers. Large rooms, hearty pub meals, superb location right near Slain Castle and Cruden Bay golf club. Lovely staff, so accommodating. Kept kitchen open one day when we had a late finish. Felt good supporting this family run pub. Great breakfasts included. Excellent value for money.
