“Beautiful cabin, lovely hosts”

Beautiful cosy cabin, met the hosts onsite and they gave a very warm and friendly welcome - even had a friend over to translate to English. Very thoughtful people. This is an adorable cabin and we really loved our stay. Even tried to stay again later in our trip but it was booked out.

“Perfect holiday in the mountains”

The house is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It's in the perfect location to explore Risnjak national park (literally, 5 min walk to the entrance) and for all other local sightseeing (20-30 min by car to: Lokvarsko lake, Forest park Golubinjak, source of the Kupa river, Delnice). The garden is wonderful to sit and relax in. The hosts are incredibly friendly and nice, and they gave us so many local recommendations for sightseeing and food. It was the perfect getaway, especially since the temps are so much cooler here even in the middle of August. We enjoyed our stay so much and will for sure be back!

“A perfect property in a beautiful place”

What a beautiful place to stay, we only wished it could have been for longer. We were met by the owners, a lovely warm couple and another nice gent who assisted with some English translation. We were treated to some homemade honey brandy and left the owners with a hug, the hospitality was above and beyond. The warmth of the locals in this stunning area was amazing in general. The chalet itself is beautiful, immaculately clean and with a lovely garden and chairs to lounge. We ate each evening alfresco and even better, no mosquitoes. The bathroom is on the small side but the place is beautiful. You are surrounded by nature with a shop about a 1km drive away for basics or a Lidl in Delnice. It’s a short walk to the National park entrance in what is a tranquil unspoilt wilderness. We enjoyed bear watching with CroMedo locally which was incredible.

“Peaceful chalet in nature”

Charming chalet only a minutes drive from the national park, in a beautiful and peaceful area. The house is cozy and has a well stocked kitchen for cooking your own food. A large supermarket can be reached with a 15 min drive. Our hosts met us on arrival and they were so warm and friendly. We were sad to leave!

“Cozy mountain house, perfect base for exploring surrounding nature”

Very nice and cozy mountain house. We came for a 3-day cycling event. There was plenty of space to safely store our mountain bikes, the house was well equipped for cooking and comfortable for sleeping. We spent most of our time in nature, but the house also has nice outdoor areas for hanging out. Beautiful nature all around, highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice place as a base for hiking/cycling/etc.

We had the pleasure of staying at Chalet House Olga nestled within the breathtaking beauty of Risnjak National Park. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene surroundings and the warm welcome extended by the hospitable homeowners. Our experience at Chalet House Olga was nothing short of extraordinary. First and foremost, the location of Chalet House Olga is an absolute paradise for nature lovers. Surrounded by dense forests, nearby rivers and lake, and majestic mountains, it offers a truly immersive experience in the heart of Gorski kotar. Each morning, we woke up to the melodious symphony of birdsong and the invigorating scent of pine trees, feeling rejuvenated and connected with the natural world. The chalet itself exudes rustic charm while providing all the modern comforts one could desire. Olga and Ivan, the hosts, have meticulously designed the interiors with a perfect balance of cozy aesthetics and functional elegance. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the comfortable beds to the tastefully chosen furnishings. The cosy living area with its charming fireplace quickly became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploration. What truly sets Chalet House Olga apart is the genuine warmth of the owners. Olga's and Ivan’s passion for their guests' well-being is palpable, and they go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. From recommending the best hiking trails to offering complementary homemade liqueurs, their dedication to creating unforgettable experiences is truly commendable. The chalet's location at the doorstep of Risnjak National Park allows for easy access to a plethora of outdoor activities. After a day of adventure, coming back to Chalet House Olga felt like returning to a sanctuary. The inviting outdoor seating area provided the perfect setting to bask in the golden hues of the setting sun, while the traditional grill allowed us to indulge in delicious barbecue dinners under the starlit sky.

The owner was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The apartment was neat, clean, well maintained and sufficiently equipped. The location is excellent, right next to Risnjak National Park.

House and nature around the house are perfect specially when is snowing it is like in a dream. Owners are weary good and polite people. House was weary clean and warm the nearest store is 800m from house but big store Lidl is 11 km away witch is not any problem even in winter with so much snow because roads are cleaning all time. All and all I will recommend that house everyone who like nature and be little away from busy world. We have amazing time and I hope we will come again.

“Lovely chalet in a beautiful part of Croatia!”

The chalet was lovely, and had all the facilities we needed for our visit. It's also set in a nice garden, which we were able to relax in. The chalet is located within walking distance of the National Park, which was very convenient. It was lovely to meet the owners and their friend on our arrival, and to share a sip of the local grappa!

“Superb little house with tons of charm!”

We really enjoyed our stay in the Chalet Olga, everything was perfect. The house itself has tons of charm and real authentic feel, it's very well equipped and numerous little details show how much love and effort was invested to make every guest feel like home. Also, the hosts Mrs. Olga and Mr. Ivan are very friendly and we will be back for sure. Superb!
