I booked this accommodation because it was advertised as pet-friendly and I was traveling with my dog. After arriving at the property, the host informed me in person that I was not allowed to use the bathroom to wash my dog because the bathroom is shared with other guests. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing before booking. I am attending a dog event and need to properly care for and wash my dog. This information was essential when choosing accommodation, and had I known about this restriction in advance, I would not have booked this property. As a result, I was unable to stay at the accommodation and had to leave. I was forced to find another hotel at very short notice and pay €84.20 for a new room, resulting in additional unexpected expenses. This situation has caused significant stress and inconvenience after a long journey. I also contacted the host regarding this issue and requested a refund, but the host refused to provide one.

Interesting old house, in the countryside. Filled with lots of Antique furniature. Thgeres a very nice eating place a few minutes drive away called Trattoria samoggia , Had a very good meal there. We had the included Breakfast, All nice, thanks

- with my 13 years in booking.com and often travel, it is a second time I give grade 10 for the stay - Great interior, so unique style of the house, everywhere. Amazing decoration for Christmas and New Year - amazing hospitality and attention to detail - nice breakfast, simple Italian style but with home made cake. Very good coffee - friendly host, created a nice atmosphere - this place will definitely will be the unique one for you

The host is very nice. He helped us with luggage and he made a nice breakfast with homemade cake. The house is full of antique and brick a brack . Large garden where our dog could play and run. Clean bedroom with fridge and nice bathroom. Nearby motorway .

The room exceeded all my expectations: it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and very convenient—everything was always clean and well-maintained. Every little detail was thought out with care. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and complete, with a variety of options that made each morning something to look forward to. Another beautiful surprise was the presence of their adorable animals—I had the chance to pet them, and it added a very special, peaceful touch to my experience. I leave Bologna with my heart full, deeply grateful for this stay. The city is now one of my favorite places in the world, and La Maison Rouge is a big reason why. A realy nice and remote farm. We were traveling with our dog and the owner was really friendly and open minded about it, even ofered a bowl for watter :)

Nice quiet location just off the main road into Bologna Nice genuine hosts who made me welcome. Their dogs liked me so that was a bonus. Good breakfast, lite but perfect. Bed and linen exceptional.

Alessio is the perfect hospitable host. He made us feel like home within a few hours, showing us local traditions in cuisine, sharing stories and recommendations and even cooking for us and sharing drinks together for a couple of evenings. The location, altough a bit remote, is within driving distance to any points of interest in the region. It’s perfect for relaxing, working remotely and getting an authentic italian countryside experience.
