“Treat yourself in this beautiful place of luxury”

After a few days elsewhere in the simmering heat without a swimming pool we decided to leave early and go to Casino di Pragato in Crespellano, and that was the best decision. It is a mansion in a quiet, beautiful environment, with kind people, spacious rooms, a luxury breakfast buffet and especially, a wonderful pool with lazy pool chairs. Very nice too is the connection to a winery with really good wines, which made this stay of a couple of days a real indulgence. Don't begrudge yourself this treat!

From the moment you arrive at this bed & breakfast, you immediately feel at ease. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the welcome is genuinely warm. Great attention is paid to small details, such as a beach bag complete with slippers. The location and the breakfast are outstanding. I can highly recommend this bed & breakfast.

Our stay was truly relaxing. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, with a charming, timeless character. The grounds are beautifully kept, and breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. Most memorable of all were the wonderful ladies overseeing breakfast, whose warmth and care made us feel like part of the family.

Beautiful house and garden, very quite, comfortable bed, very friendly and caring staff, early check-in was possible. It is better to arrive by rental or personal car, taxi is difficult to book.

We liked the concept of typical Italian palazzo style accommodation, in the nature but close to high way and big cities at the same time. Very nice staff.

“Tranquil vacation spot with an amazing breakfast!”

The location of the hotel is slightly off the main road which makes it nice and quiet. The hotel is surrounded by a garden/forest and is somewhat isolated which makes it super peaceful and extra enjoyable. The pool area was especially relaxing. The staff was very helpful and nice. However, if one thing stood out it would be the amazing breakfast. The offering was locally sourced and had a bit of everything. Fresh fruits and cookies, amazing local prosciutto and cheeses, jams, honey... There was a little bit of everything! The quality of everything that we tried was impressive. For anyone who values a good breakfast this is the place to come to. :)

This place deserves more than 10 points - it’s beyond perfect. The house and the rooms are spectacular, extremely tasteful, spotlessly clean, the garden and the pool area a paradise and everywhere you find well thought through details (sun screen, mosquito repellent, free drinks (coffee, water ,… - wine & beer are also available in the refrigerators). There is a possibility to charge electric cars and a lot of recommendations and information about places to go and things to do and Bologna is a 20-30 min drive away. The breakfast is extraordinary with fresh fruit, local products, delicious coffee - the whole experience felt like we landed in paradise which is run by the nicest crew - thanks Sonia, Matteo and everyone else who is making the experience so extraordinary! This time, we literally booked last minute as a stop over., next time we‘ll stay longer for sure.

Beautiful ! Great location for airport, wonderful bed pillows and linens. Elegant furnishings and furniture. Well throughout coffee tea and water facilities. Good WiFi, fantastic breakfast . Excellent support from staff via what’s app and check in. Charcuterie supper was lovely too.

What a great place to stay. The house, grounds were lovely, large bedrooms, beautiful cooled and the excellent swimming pool was well used daily! Drinks were always available and we really liked the locally sourced products that were used for breakfast and their own wine and beer. What made the visit really special though was the staff. They could not have been nicer, more thoughtful. Always checking that we had dinner reservations, happy to make them for us and advising options for visits. The location was great to visit Modena, Maranello, Bologna, all less than 30 minutes drive from Casino di Pragatto. We all came away rested. Thank you Casino di Pragatto team.

After a long trip around Italy we chose this place to just relax and do nothing. The rooms are great, clean. The staff is amazing. The pool area is great, it has an opportunity to buy water, wine, panini. There is a lot of greenery around, very relaxing surrounding. Thank you for a great stay!

The cleaniness

Casino di Pragatto is amazing experience if you want to enjoy proper and local Italian food. The breakfast was highlight of our trip, better than in some restaurants when we ordered platters. The family is super nice with a lot of recommendations for eating, sightseeing and exploring.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Welcoming and responsive staff. Impeccably clean and neat rooms. Exceptional breakfast, all products freshly made and provided by supporting local bakeries and farmers and served at an elegant setting among trees in a lovely garden. A peaceful and relaxing get-away. If you are looking for a memorable experience near Bologna, this is it! :)
