Situated in Crescent City, literally 10ft from the beach, Oceanfront Lodge features a spa, fitness room and a private beach area. Great view from my room. Pool and sauna good. Pool table in the lobby on which I had a game or two with fellow travellers in the evening. Got a 15% discount for dinner at the restaurant but decided to go a short walk down the road to SeaQuake, which was a really nice restaurant and bar with a very good beer selection

Being close to the beach was lovely. Meals in the restaurant overlooking the sea were pleasant with good food and friendly staff. Washing facilities were handy.

“Great location but a tired property”
Location was why we chose it, and that was as pictured, nice to look out at, and and easily walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable, room clean. The big plus for us was the 2 block walk to Seaquake Brewery, which is an excellent option for a drink and meal. Very popular, constant stream of people when we were there mid week.

“Overpriced for run down hotel”
Very drab outdated, fly screen found on ground outside window, noisy ac, toilet running. Tv intermittent viewing, lamps flickering ... outlets not working for charging phones. Kid at reception not very welcoming, nor the girl at checkout

The view was amazing. Hearing the waves was very peaceful. The beds were comfy but a tad hard.
