“Clean. Welcoming. Accommodating. Quiet. Basic Breakfast. Local Recommendations for Redwoods & Surf.”
The Front Desk Staff Elliot and Sam were amazing. Thank you to both of them for their knowledge! They helped direct me to the must see Redwood attractions in Redwoods State Park and Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park. They were right, these forests I found much more enjoyable to walk/drive through than some of the southern Redwoods by Eureka. The room was clean, bed was comfy. There is a very basic breakfast in the morning (hardboiled eggs, cereals, muffins, bananas, coffee, juice) which is what I needed to get on with my morning of adventuring - nothing too heavy, just enough to be active.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our tandem and upgraded us free of charge. They were also allowing emergency personnel based across the road to come and have breakfast and top up with coffee free of charge during the forest fire crisis. I have nothing but praise for this motel.

“Charming one-of-a-kind motel with great staff!”
This is a charming motel, which has not been modernized, but has a great deal of character as a result. The room layout was unique, and the place is very well kept. The staff were welcoming and professional.

The room was clean and housekeeping emptied trash everyday. Having a triple bed room was great for me and my kids.
