The towels need to be replaced. They looked like they were 100 years old. There needs to be more pillows. Other than that okay stay. Also there’s no AC fyi.

When I saw photos my first thought was wide angle lens. Reality nope. The room was huge. Clean lovely. Bed super comfy. Oh and the restaurant across the street is great.

“Mid-century gem, a must-see for design lovers”
I loved the uniqueness of the place: all redwood, built in 1957 from a single tree, with most of the historical features intact, including custom furniture. Mid-century modern, Pacific northwest style. The room had ambience and was very comfy. The built-in heater worked. Everything was very clean.

Very friendly staff. Gut coffee machine in the room. Windows can be opened. Very good seafood restaurant in walking distance. Close to the beach.

“Unique in the best way”
The lady at the reception was just amazing. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We stayed there for one night and can absolutely recommend this unique Redwood Lodge.

A beautiful little retro motel with an interesting story, being that all of the timber came from one redwood tree! Clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would be a great place to stay if spending more than one night in Crescent City.

what a very fun place, the Curly Redwood story is quirky and great history , the rooms were massive and comfy beds , great showers . the staff were very friendly and accommodating
