“Idyllic retreat in the heart of Armagnac”

Tucked away in the quiet countryside, Le Poutic is the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The property is beautiful and well kept, with attractive gardens and an inviting swimming pool. Arrival and check-in are stress-free: reception warm and friendly, parking convenient. The options for accommodation range from a standard double to an attached two-bedroom gîte with full kitchen, two bathrooms, washing machine, etc. We splurged on the gîte, which was spacious, well-appointed, light, airy, clean, and comfortable. Isabelle and Florent are exceptional hosts: welcoming, attentive, and clearly committed to making sure every guest has a wonderful experience. Leisurely dinners and breakfasts on the patio were a highlight; Florent, a creative and accomplished cook, prepares delicious, wholesome meals from fresh local ingredients. Isabelle gave us great advice about Armagnac distilleries, wineries, picturesque villages, and other attractions in the area. Thanks to her suggestions, we experienced a side of the region we never would have discovered on our own. (Don’t miss the spectacular Jardins de Coursiana in la Romieu.) Créon-d’Armagnac is a quiet and unspoiled corner of southwestern France, and Le Poutic is the perfect base for exploring the region—or for lounging about and letting yourself be pampered while you recharge. Le Poutic’s dining room wall features a quotation from Paul Bocuse: “Recevoir quelqu'un, c’est se charger de son bonheur.” Putting our happiness in the capable hands of Isabelle and Florent was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made in a long time. Highly, wholeheartedly recommend!

“Beautiful place in a great, tranquil location, with excellent facilities and lovely owners”

We loved everything about this property. Isabelle and Florent were so welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard. It is in a very beautiful and quiet location, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are very well appointed and the bed was really comfortable. We had dinner there on both evenings, cooked by Florent, and it was gorgeous. The weather was fantastic and we were able to eat both breakfast and dinner outside in the beautiful courtyard, which was very special and added to our enjoyment of the beautiful food. This is a very special place, run by such a lovely couple, and we highly recommend it. We definitely plan to return!

The owners were very hospitable and lovely. We arranged to have food prepared for us onsite which we were very grateful for in the end as there isn't many eateries locally and it allowed us to fully relax during our short stay. We were blown away with how beautiful and well maintained the property, garden and home was kept. The overall experience was beyond our expectations and our favourite part of the stay was getting to know the owners and enjoying the garden and pool

Comfortable, beautifully decorated, modern ……. renovated barn for breakfast & dinner. Isabelle & Floran were so delightful. Very knowledgeable about what to visit locally …… and fantastic cooks. Two delicious meals, best we’ve had.

Lovely quiet location. Florent and Isabel were very welcoming Evening meal provided was excellent as was the breakfast. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The pool was heated and nicely clean with sunloungers provided.

We were offered dinner cooked by Florent. It was superb as was breakfast which was served in the courtyard under the olive tree. The property is set in a beautiful tranquil location and has a swimming pool. We have already planned to stay next year when we are in the area.
