We arrived in Creel by train from Chihuahua, and the hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the open station platform. Check-in is a little unusual — you need to go into the corner shop under the large hotel sign. Our double room actually came with two double beds, which were comfortable and well supplied with bedding — perfect for the cooler climate here. The rooms are cleaned daily, which was much appreciated. Hot water and water pressure were both excellent, although the shower cubicle was quite small and the shower head could be more adjustable. I would also have liked to see a water dispenser available for guests. Soundproofing is not the strongest. At night you may hear V8 engines, cars, off-road vehicles with loud music, and of course the distinctive sound of the train horn. Luckily, the noise doesn’t continue too late into the night. The location is very convenient, right on the main road in town with shops and restaurants close by. Overall, this is a good hotel with a few minor improvements that could make it even better. I would be happy to stay here again.
