Great location right near the train station, good heating and big room. Comfortable beds and fresh water available, ramps to reception but stairs for room.

The reception helped us get a tour around the town and it turned out to be excellent. We appreciated it a lot.

Very well decorated room and communal areas. Especially liked the sitting area and balcony on the first floor right outside our room. Staff very helpful. Provided coffees from reception and moved our breakfast earlier as we were booked on the El Chepe at 8am, although this was a very short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was very good and authentic Mexican menu.

The location, nice bathroom, good and efficient heating (AC reversible), confortable bed, nice decoration

I love trains & this hotel does too! Every room is themed on a station along El Chepe & they’ve done. a fantastic job of bringing the railway into the hotel. I only noticed the artwork on the stairs at breakfast this morning.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean, warm and quaintly decorated. I loved being right next to the tracks with a window to watch the passing train.

Loved the train theme, lovely staff and fabulous location. It is next to the train tracks. There is noise from the passing trains but this wasn’t in the night.

“If Fatima had not been there it would have been a very poor experience.”

The manager Fatima was excellent and looked after us very well, she organised some laundry to be done in the town for us and helped us find an excellent horse riding trip with Luis. The location was good.
